South America MRQ opening matchups revealed

Legacy will face coldzera's RED Canids in the first round.

The schedule for the Austin Major South American Regional Qualifier has been released. The tournament will be played from April 15-17 and is set to award three Stage 1 spots at the American event.

The eight attending teams have been split into two groups, where all matches will be played in a best-of-three format. Each group winner will advance directly to the Major, while the second and third-placed teams in each group will fight in a single-elimination bracket to decide the final qualification spot.

Group A is headlined by Imperial, who come into the event as the highest-ranked team. They are joined by Sharks, Solid, and ODDIK and are set to face the latter in the opening match.

Legacy have been put into Group B, where they will face off against ex-member Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David and his RED Canids team in the opening round. Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan's Fluxo are also in the group, as is the majority-Argentinian side BESTIA.
