GamerLegion stay alive at Complexity's expense
Complexity have been sent packing from IEM Melbourne after bagging just a single victory over paiN.

GamerLegion have prevailed in their elimination match over Complexity, forcing the American side out of IEM Melbourne in 9-12th place with a 2-1 series victory.
FaZe will serve as the final barrier between GamerLegion and playoffs, with the two international sides set to clash for the honor of joining fellow Group A competitors MOUZ and The MongolZ in the top six of the event.

GamerLegion will be looking to build on their recent quarter-final finish at PGL Bucharest while also making up for their disappointing BLAST.tv Austin Major qualifying campaign. A playoff appearance in Melbourne would give GamerLegion one of their strongest placings since their Major final appearance at the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023.
Complexity also had a solid outing at PGL Bucharest, bagging a fourth-place finish overall, but the American side failed to replicate that success while in Australia. Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's men had a close series against The MongolZ to start, but the team only managed to claim a win over a Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt-less paiN before departing from the event.

The elimination series between Complexity and GamerLegion kicked off on the former side's pick of Train, where GamerLegion got off to a stellar start, thoroughly shutting down Complexity's offense. The Americans began to mount a comeback on the CT-side, but a 2.28 T-side rating from Fredrik "REZ" Sterner allowed GamerLegion to lock down Train 13-9.
Complexity rebounded on Ancient, snatching away GamerLegion's map pick with a commanding 13-5 scoreline to bring the series to Nuke.
Complexity were unable to replicate their Ancient form on the Nuke decider, as REZ, Oldřich "PR" Nový, and Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof rolled over the American side with ease to claim a 13-4, sending Complexity home from IEM Melbourne despite the Ancient hiccup.
