ZywOo named BLAST Rivals MVP

The French sniper secures his fifth consecutive MVP award.

Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut has been named the HLTV x 1XBET Most Valuable Player of BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 after Vitality beat Falcons in the grand final with a 3-2 scoreline.

The award is ZywOo's fifth consecutive accolade during Vitality's trophy-ladden run, as he was the star performer in their previous title wins at IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League S21, BLAST Open Lisbon, and IEM Melbourne before he repeated the feat in Copenhagen.

Vitality's talisman ended the Danish event with a 1.31 overall rating and was the team's best performer in the grand final (1.30) alongside Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool.

ZywOo was also near the top of a plethora of statistical categories, such as clutches (6, #2), opening kills per round (0.18, #2), overall rating (1.31, #3), Impact rating (1.46, #3) damage per round (86.4, #3), and multikill rounds (53.9%, #4).

This is ZywOo's 25th overall MVP award and his 18th at a Big Event, which further extends his lead at the top of the all-time standings.
