The Dane will play his first official of 2025 at IEM Dallas with GamerLegion.

acoR will once again don a GamerLegion jersey

GamerLegion has announced that Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand will stand in for the team at IEM Dallas due to the organization not being able to secure a visa for Henrich "⁠sl3nd⁠" Hevesi.

acoR has not played an HLTV official match in 2025 after the whole of TSM were benched at the end of 2024 and it wasn't until April that the 27-year-old announced his free agency.

The Dane will once again don the GamerLegion jersey with which he reached the BLAST.tv Paris Major grand final, although he will not meet any of his former teammates as none of the players from his time in GamerLegion between 2022 and 2024 remain on the team, although he will be under the orders of his former skipper, Ashley "⁠ash⁠" Battye.

GamerLegion will travel to Dallas after a disappointing showing at PGL Astana, where they went out 0-3 and sl3nd was the lowest-rated player of the group stage with a 0.68 rating. Their opening match is slated for Monday, May 19, at 19:30 , against 3DMAX.

imo gr1ks is overrated. He didn't show himself well on betboom landalan. Instead of going straight to a tier 2 team, he expects who knows what. In the end, he will stay on the Russian scene.

tbf, it is GL, not a rich org. Acor, hades are probably the kind of awper they could get. They didn't qualify for the major. Who want to join GL ? Their best players will be sold too.

I didn't mean this season, but this is the "crude" reality of GL. It is basically the academy of vitality, faze, g2 (orgs who don't have an academy or their academy team is horrible). So, either you are "washed" or in a weird period (acor, hades, rez) or you are a new talent who want to be sold to be big orgs. You are not dreaming of winning an event with GL.

Don't be so fast to write off Broky man, slumps are normal and they happen to everyone except ZywOo and Donk. Sometimes a slump is just an effect of the team environment, and we saw from FaZe documentary that the team seems to be in shit when it comes to vibes... it's entirely possible and I would even dare to say LIKELY that Broky comes back in a new team, happened many times before and will surely happen many times again.

Sure, slumps happen and sometimes players recover but in a lot of cases players do not recover from huge slumps for various cases (loss of motivation to play and practice CS, being more family oriented as new additions the family appear, etc). I think broky has simply lost the motivation he once had and will follow a similair path as Kjaerbye did for example but one could only assume and guess really. Judging the whole mood of the FaZe team on a single higly edited documentary seems unfair and unwise If I am being real with you.

I think it's impossible to say if Broky follows the footsteps of Kjaerbye or will he follow many other players who came back from their respective slumps, time will tell But judging the mood of FaZe from watching the matches, watching the interviews with players, reading their twitter and watching a documentary might not be the worst of ideas, the image is pretty clear lately in the FaZe camp. Judging SOLELY by the documentary would be unwise, sure.

There is no reason to assume that they will sign ac0r even on a trial basis as of right now, much less a long term contract.
