The world's best teams are set to clash for the lion's share of a $1,000,000 prize purse.

Teams and format

16 teams, including six of the top 10, are set to come together in Dallas to fight for the trophy. The teams have been split into two groups of eight, as follows:

Group A

Group B

Each group will play out a double-elimination BO3 bracket, with the top team in each group heading to the semi-finals, whilst second and third head to the quarter-finals. A single-elimination bracket will take over for the playoffs, with the quarter and semi-finals being BO3, whilst the final is BO5.

Esl dont like blast so them not being hired is normal unless its a major or kato cologne. Blast also does the same with Chad and Alex who regularly do pgl and esl.

What does "player share" mean in the prizepool distribution ? Each player gets a "player share" or the 5 player share the "player share"?

It's for all players. Just check the sum, it can't be so much for each player

Player share is traditional prizepool split how ever its written in a player/orgs contract. Its what you think or see from any events before TOs starting doing the player/club stuff. Club share goes directly to the org and org only.

Crazy that the club share is higher than the player share. not even taking into account the % that clubs take from that player share anyway.

The reasoning for this is even crazier. ESL racks up the club share above other TOs, so their events are prioritised over PGL/Blast etc that are overlapping or close to (look at PGL Astana and Dallas as an example, where top teams like vitality and mouz didn't attend even though they could). It's their way of overriding valves new rules to eliminate TO and club affiliates. ESL is what's going to ruin the scene, valuing money over a fair playground.
