Maden and dupreeh enter free agency

dupreeh and Maden played their last event with Falcons at the Shanghai Major's RMR

Falcons has announced that two of their former players, Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen and Pavle "⁠Maden⁠" Bošković, who had been benched from the team after failing to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major at the end of 2024, have now entered free agency.

The Montenegrin player had joined the Saudi organization in December 2023, following the dissolution of ENCE, alongside teammates Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García and Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer.

The Dane on the other hand was brought on in March 2024 as a stable, veteran solution when Mohammad "⁠BOROS⁠" Malhas was removed from the team, and following a short loan spell of Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev that was not extended beyond its initial month-long term.

The duo were moved to the bench at the end of 2024 in an overhaul that included the signings of star rifler Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač and René "⁠TeSeS⁠" Madsen.

Since being benched, Maden played as a stand-in for HEROIC at the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 Finals in January, and has more recently been playing with Partizan in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 18, while dupreeh has been doing broadcast analysis for BLAST.

I can see Maden as an upgrade to pretty much every international tier 2 team but I bet he wants to wait for a decent tier 1 offer. He might very well get it aswell but it may take a while. As for Dupreeh I have a hard time seeing him motivated to play pro cs anymore. Do not get me wrong he would be a great addition to a lot of teams still. However Dupreeh has won over 2 million $ already and that is just in prize money, not his salary or whatever. He is most certainly set for life unless he fumbled the bag somehow. Who knows maybe he will come back and win a 6th major when someone else ties his major trophy record.

Smartest HLTV user here Dudepreeh is set for life, he still has some spark left, but he can't allocate 10+ hours a day to the game like all the younger players, he showed some sparks at the last time in Vitality, some in Heroic and some in Falcons, but it seems to die off pretty quickly after he gets settled, idk if he could overcome that.

he was on hltv confirmed a little while ago. he pretty much said all you suggested. he has a family so cant allocate as much time to playing as he used to, he is also VERY wealthy and didnt hide the fact

Two careers that are probably over unfortunately. They would both probably need to take a few steps back and grind it back from lower tiers, maybe Maden can, but would dupreeh do that? I'm not sure. Sad tbh.
