IEM Dallas playoff bracket set

Quarter-final rematches from Astana and Melbourne kick off the bracket stage in Dallas.

The playoff bracket for IEM Dallas has been set following the conclusion of the group stage, which ended with GamerLegion locking in the final spot after eliminating G2 and Vitality narrowly holding on to their 28-game winstreak to secure a semi-final bye over The MongolZ.

The Mongolian team will instead start their playoff run against Aurora in a rematch of the PGL Astana quarter-final, where the Turkish side ended a five-event-long winless playoff streak by defeating The MongolZ in 2-0 fashion before falling to Astralis in the semis.

Azbayar "⁠Senzu⁠" Munkhbold and company will look to shrug off arena woes of their own in the rematch as they look to get revenge, while on the opposite end of the bracket, Falcons and GamerLegion will lock horns in a rematch of their IEM Melbourne quarter-final bout.

GamerLegion had mustered just seven rounds combined across two maps in that series, but will hope having Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand as a stand-in this time around can turn the tides against a Falcons who just suffered their first defeat to a team other than Vitality since bringing in Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov.
