The Brazilian rifler leaves ODDIK's active roster after almost two years of service.
ODDIK have announced the benching of João "matios" Guedes from their active roster in a mutual decision.
The news comes after the Brazilian team narrowly missed out on the PGL Astana playoffs on their Big Event debut.
Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato's troops got the better of a Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač-less G2 and paiN to find themselves in the 2-2 pool, but were then comfortably defeated by Aurora in the deciding series.
Despite their group-stage exit, ODDIK's PGL Astana exploits have propelled them to No. 28 in the HLTV rankings and No. 53 in Valve's.
matios finished the Kazakhstani event as the team's lowest-rated player at 0.79 and recorded just two maps with a rating above 1.00, and has now been moved to the bench ahead of the summer break.
