One man show: nicoodoz decimates Complexity with 3.08-rated performance

The Dane went 33-6 on Ancient to open up the Austin Major with a statement.

In a statement first match in Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi spearheaded a convincing victory against Complexity with his career-best map.

The Dane racked up a 33-6 score in the 13-3 victory to end up on a dumbfounding 3.08 rating, well off of his previous LAN high of 2.20 from a local match in 2017's Copenhagen Games BYOC qualifier.

Complexity had made the mistake of letting OG's favorite map through in the veto ahead of the best-of-one opener and paid the price, but not even nicoodoz & co. could have predicted how smoothly it would go.

The 24-year-old continued to heat up on the defensive side and ended it on 26 kills to lead the way to a 9-3 half, and didn't stop there as OG closed it out with a flawless run after sides switched, mowing down a couple of low Complexity buys with seven more kills.

true - but he is still breaking records at a major, and not at espoo, and that mathematical statistic cannot be taken away from him. And he's doing it with fiku on the team, not with ropz and flamez by his side. It's pretty extra-ordinary - regardless what happens rest of his career, he has this record under his name, at a major

hltv.org/stats/players/matches/21167/don.. highest ever 2.61, you can sort by rating, donk is unlikely to ever beat this because he is so aggressive, he will always rack up deaths (obviously he is still more likely than almost any other player)

2.97 against gamerlegion is Zywoo's only rating above 2.7 hltv.org/stats/players/matches/11893/zyw.. Woxic has one of the best ratings ever 3.21 against hellraisers 16 : 2 35 - 4 191.1 ADR 4.1 Impact hltv.org/stats/matches/mapstatsid/63692/.. Zix got a 3.23 but its a tier 4 match so doesnt really count imo

Yeah, if you go even deeper and even lower in the tiers, there are even more bonkers numbers that just fly under the radar. I think one of them was even a UK game in tier 5 where somebody posted a 3+ rating.
