Where does nicoodoz fall in CS2 and CS:GO records?

The Dane produced a masterclass performance in OG's Major opener against Complexity.

nicoodoz posted a 3.08 rating against Complexity, an all-time Major high

OG breezed past a Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli-less Complexity 13-3 on Ancient in their first match at the Austin Major — a victory decorated by an imperious display from Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi.

The 24-year-old Dane, who is playing more of a hybrid style on OG compared to his previous teams, posted a jaw-dropping 3.08 rating to set a new Major record, eclipsing Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel's 3.01-rated performance against CLG at ESL One Cologne 2016.

One man show: nicoodoz decimates Complexity with 3.08-rated performance

It was the second-highest LAN rating on record since CS2 came out, only behind Adam "Grizz" Golden's 3.25 rating against Parkers Money Crew at Fragadelphia Kansas in June 2024.

As an aside, Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov technically holds the record for highest rating at 3.46, but that came in a four-round tiebreaker affair against Virtus.pro at IEM Fall 2021.

Below you can see how nicoodoz performance stacks up all-time, in CS2 only and with CS:GO factored in. We've broken down the top performances of all time into two lists because of the different rating formulas and max round settings.

Dosia was a top 5 player the year before that game. WorldEdit was also genuinely one of the betyer AWPers in early CSGO. He was the defacto gate keeper for T1 awpers. If you couldn't outduel him, you couldn't join a T1 team. Hell, you'd probably get dropped from T2 because F3 would gatekeep the fuck out of the majors

If you actually watched the matches, it wouldn't take much aside from braincells(which I see you lack any) to see how consistent Zywoo is... Zywoo does not have any weaknesses as the little 9 year old child does... Vitality do not rely on Zywoo as they understand it takes a TEAM to win... On save rounds for Spirit, everyone keeps their pistol except donk gets an ak/m4 which is not hard to bait for free kills... When Vitality saves, they don't give Zywoo an ak/m4 while the rest of the team keeps their pistols. Donk doesn't even know how to throw util let alone use an AWP. How can Donk be the best when Spirit have failed to beat vitality w/ Zywoo or g2 w/ monesy+niko as good luck scrolling to find a W against Zywoo or Monesy... Funny how that works...

Very nice article, we all appreciate it, thank mr. @Striker and mr. @MIRAA !!! It's always very cool to see a set of stats like this next to each other, nice to have witnessed another big, big record in CS yesterday :D Let's see what today brings us. So people can only discuss these things if they're better than the players in question? That's a stupid notion at best... Nicoodoz is setting records in the CS version of Sunday league football, and in the context of the Premier League, it means absolutely nothing.

Faze is a mess and they still had Broky then. They can lose to or beat anyone it seems Falcons were still dysfunctional and it was only later in that tournament that Degster went hard carry mode Watch the games and know the context before opening your mouth.

You’re looking at the games with 0 context and not taking into account that upsets happen. That version of FaZe and Falcons are wildly different from how they are now. Faze less so given continuing struggles, but at the same time, their awp diff is night and day with s1 instead of Broky, being an immediate floor raiser for Faze. Col at their best aren’t beating T1 teams at their best. It’s not picking and choosing, it’s using context and common sense to make a point.
