B8 snatch HEROIC upset as 1-1 pool concludes
Lynn Vision, FURIA and 3DMAX also advanced to the qualification matches in the final round of best-of-ones.

The 1-1 pool matches have come to a close at the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage 2.
Lynn Vision, 3DMAX, FURIA and B8 have advanced to the 2-1 qualification round, sending TYLOO, Nemiga, M80 and HEROIC to the elimination zone.
Here's a quick round-up of the final best-of-one matches of the second stage:
Lynn Vision dominate the first-ever Chinese Major derby
It's only the second time that two Chinese-majority teams appear together at a Major (the first was IEM Katowice 2019), but chance had it so that TYLOO and Lynn Vision faced off against one another in the 1-1 round.
The two cores are regular opponents on the local scene, of course, having met on a whopping 74 maps in the past three years. Lynn Vision won the 75th in dominant fashion with a well-controlled CT side on Anubis.
zweih not enough to beat 3DMAX
In a match where neither side spared any words in back-and-forth banter, 3DMAX just squeezed by Nemiga on Dust2 despite starting the halves down 0-5 and 0-4.
Ivan "zweih" Gogin's 26-kill effort was not enough against the well-drilled Frenchmen, who looked in control once their economy stabilized and recovered a 5-10 deficit on the CT side on the way to a 2-1 record.
Star duo power FURIA to win
FURIA came out on top of the all-Americas clash against in a lively Dust2 game after holding off M80's comeback attempt in the second half.
Things were looking promising for the North American side in the first half, but a Tec-9 push from the Brazilians swung the momentum back in their favor. M80 spent the rest of the game playing catch up, but without success.
Yuri "yuurih" Santos and Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato proved the difference in the game as they combined for 36 frags.
B8 snatch second big upset
B8's road in the second stage has been about as tough as it could be, but despite facing off against three of the five highest-ranked teams in attendance, they are now one series away from the next stage.
After beating Falcons in the first round, they've added a HEROIC scalp to their name after a well-called Terrorist side on Dust2.
