BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025molodoy shines as FURIA head to 2-0 pool over Aurora
FURIA's form only seems to be getting better as they continue their Major campaign.
FURIA's hot start to Stage 3 has continued in Austin as they have followed up their earlier win over The MongolZ with a comfortable 13-7 victory over Aurora on Dust2, sending Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and his troops to the 2-0 pool.
Once again Danil "molodoy" Golubenko was the star of the show for FURIA, racking up a 7:0 record in opening duels and over 100 ADR as he tore through Aurora.
Aurora began the map with a pistol win, but once FURIA got guns up on their CT side, they were tough for the Turks to stop, in no small part due to molodoy's repeated opening kills. Once the sides switched Aurora bagged another pistol victory, but were instantly broken thanks to molodoy's exploits on a Scout, leading to a comfortable FURIA win.
There were some hairy moments across the map for FURIA, with one such moment requiring a Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis 3K spray transfer to rectify the situation, but ultimately they were comfortably the better side and deserved winners.
