The Belarusian AWPer will fill the void left by SunPayus' departure.

HEROIC have announced the signing of Gleb "⁠gr1ks⁠" Gazin from Astrum to bring their roster up to four members following the departures of Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García and Eetu "⁠sAw⁠" Saha to G2 and the benching of Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç.

The 19-year-old, who links up with countryman Andrey "⁠tN1R⁠" Tatarinovich in HEROIC, has been one of the hottest young AWPers on the market.

He averaged a 1.17 rating in 2024 and improved to a 1.18 this year while helping Aurora/Astrum secure titles at European Pro League Season 22 and Galaxy Battle 2025 STARTER as the team's highest-rated player by far.

HEROIC sign TOBIZ as coach

The move continues HEROIC's summer rebuild after the organization previously signed Tobias "⁠TOBIZ⁠" Theo from MOUZ NXT as the team's new coach.

The move means only one spot on the lineup is left, with an earlier report by SheepEsports naming Linus "⁠nilo⁠" Bergman as the final piece of the puzzle.

I would say he is unstable like broky (so he is not tier-1 for me). For example, he can show something crazy on map 1 and then on map 2 he will be a lowtab guardian. But maybe under karrigan's guidance he will be able to stabilize his performance. At the same time, FaZe needs an awper, but they do not have enough budget to try to buy out tier-1 snipers. So they do not have many options right now: sign someone like degster or find a promising talent (but I think it is too late for this scouting)

he's MUCH BETTER bc of his potential. sunpayus has a "drawn" 2.1 rating, because he mostly played with tier-2/1.5 teams (and even there he wasn't that stable and confident at all the matches), and with top-10 teams his performance was weak as hell

We've had a while to think about this new roster, it had long since leaked that these moves were coming. Honestly I truly believe Heroic are as good if not better than before. Sunpayus is good, and Gr1ks will either be just as good if not a little less, and will perhaps be shakier on LAN at first. Nilo is a huge upgrade over xfloud, and this is where Heroic will truly get better. Finally they have lost a top 5 coach in SaW, but they gain a top 10-15 coach in the world. I honest rate TobiZ at the level of lmbt. If he can prove himself, and LNZ listens to the input, and the team properly rebuilds its structures with these 3 new components, this team could easily enter the top 10. I expect them however to stay about where they currently are, somewhere between the top 15-25 for now until the newbies get used to LAN.

I know but xfl0ud is miles more valuable to me than yxngstxr for example, and nilo roles clashes a lot with tN1R but not with xfl0ud. They added tN1R to replace nilo until he came back but they want to keep him now which is understandable he's the probably the best up and comer besides kyousuke, but i dislike that they kept yxngstxr instead of xfl0ud if it's not for an Aurora move. Heroic is usually a pretty smart org so i'm a bit puzzled.

LMAO lollipop 2025 LNZ is a underated igl i can give u -yxngstar they could use a uppgrade in anchor/support but with swedish core and a different play style things can look different for them i always thought xfloud could be to throwy at times even if he put up good numbers he could lose dumb rounds cuz dog plays and that didnt help yxngstar cuz on most maps they defend same site. 1 zweizh is almost in spirit hands plus nilo is so forgotten he was great in metiz especially with ztr i think heroic just gonna continue to climb hard part maybe could be the language barrier but still a better team now than that shit u put up above regards
