nilo returns to complete HEROIC roster

Six months after he joined HEROIC only to go inactive without playing a single match, nilo is ready for a competitive return.

Linus "⁠nilo⁠" Bergman has returned to activity after being brought back from HEROIC's bench to complete the roster, the organization has announced.

The 20-year-old Swede spent the last six months on the sidelines, having initially been transferred to HEROIC from Metizport at the beginning of the year, only to go on the bench without playing a single match due to "personal circumstances making the leap to Tier 1 Counter-Strike particularly challenging."

He now returns at a time of need for HEROIC, who have once again been forced to rebuild for the second consecutive season after Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García and Eetu "⁠sAw⁠" Saha transferred to G2.

The team also benched Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç in a surprise move, and it is nilo who effectively replaces him, rounding out the roster alongside up-and-coming AWPer Gleb "⁠gr1ks⁠" Gazin and former MOUZ NXT coach Tobias "⁠TOBIZ⁠" Theo.

But it is hardly a one-for-one change, particularly on the T side, where nilo has profiled as more of a measured lurker in Metizport as opposed to the aggressive, space-taking xfl0ud.

As a result, a larger role overhaul will be needed to fit the pieces together under the tutelage of TOBIZ and Linus "⁠LNZ⁠" Holtäng.
