Sources: FlyQuest target jks buyout

jks is looking to return to a home team after five years.

FlyQuest are locked in talks with Liquid to buy Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage out of his contract, sources have revealed to HLTV.

The sources have indicated that the 29-year-old would take the place of Jay "⁠Liazz⁠" Tregillgas, who has struggled to perform under the FlyQuest banner with a 0.86 Big Event rating in the past 12 months.

jks has been sitting on Liquid's bench for the past three months, since the team brought in Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek as its new in-game leader in April.

At the time, the team needed to keep Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic to retain its assignment to the Americas on the Valve Regional Standings. However, with adjustments to the ranking model now meaning that Liquid are considered a European team anyway, the Canadian's spot is now in danger.

NAF: "I don't know if I'll be on the team after this event"

But instead of a potential reinstatement to the Liquid roster, jks is targeting a return to Australia. He has not played for a home team since 2020, when 100 Thieves disbanded following the organization's withdrawal from CS:GO.

Should a deal for jks be struck, FlyQuest's lineup will look as follows:
