Legacy complete ESL Pro League S22 team list

The Brazilian squad had to overcome a loss to Imperial to claim their spot.

In their first matches since their underdog run at BLAST.tv Austin Major Legacy have secured a place in Stage 1 of ESL Pro League Season 22, doing so via the South America closed qualifier.

The Brazilian squad were required to stand fast in the face of adversity during their successful run, surviving five overtimes to get over the line against Sharks before being sent to the lower bracket by Imperial.

Legacy then bested Sharks once again in the lower bracket final to set up rematch with Imperial, improving upon their initial efforts by flipping the script on the decider of Nuke to claim victory in the qualifier.

The usual suspects of Bruno "⁠latto⁠" Rebelatto and Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer were Legacy's highest-rated players across the qualifier, although the former suffered from a quiet final in which Guilherme "⁠saadzin⁠" Pacheco stepped up to pick up the slack.

In their first outing since their BLAST.tv Austin Major exploits Legacy have secured another tier-one tournament appearance for the season, during which they will also participate in BLAST Bounty Season 2.

With the qualification of Legacy the team list for ESL Pro League Season 22 is now complete, with 16 teams set to compete in Stage 1 for the right to join the eight teams seeded directly into the main event.
