BLAST Bounty S2 opening matchups set

The opening online matches have been decided by a draft.

The BLAST Bounty Season 2 opening matches have been set with the help of a draft system.

The teams with lower opening seeds (17-32) selected their opponents to try and earn their bounties, with each higher-ranked squad having a designated cash reward placed on their heads.

MIBR picked first due to being seeded No. 17 and went with Virtus.pro as their opponents, with Ninjas in Pyjamas following that with paiN as their chosen rival.

The rest of the picks went mostly according to the seeds with the exception of 12th seed Astralis, who were picked seventh-last by Rare Atom.

The first two games of the tournament will be played in a single-elimination best-of-three bracket, before the eight remaining teams fly to Malta for the $500,000 Finals.
