FISSURE Playground 2 team list complete

The organizer has announced the final four attendees.

The 16-team FISSURE Playground 2 team list has been finalized after the organizers announced that Legacy, HEROIC, paiN, and Lynn Vision will be attending the $1,250,000 event.

The four teams complete a team list headlined by The MongolZ, FURIA, FaZe, and Falcons, whose roster features hometown hero Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač.

Playground 1 champions TYLOO have also received an invitation, as have their grand final opponents Astralis.

The tournament's playoffs will take place in the Belgrade Arena from September 19-21, with the Swiss System group-stage precursor happening from September 12-17.

Starladder is their home tournament. For the org at least, so we know why they chose it. Other don't have such connection (outside of Starladder now being ESL proxy and we know some shady things going on there in the background with top orgs)

And for years now has been running only mobile games tournaments, but nobody really cares, the name value in CS is still there and doubly so for teams like NaVi, B8 and Passion

FISSURE is using the July 7th VRS for the invites HEROIC's July 7th roaster on the VRS was SunPayus xfl0ud LNZ tn1R yxngxtxr since then: xfl0ud got benched Sunpayus transfered to G2 signed gr1ks nilo came in from the bench benched gr1ks sold tn1r brought xfl0ud from the bench if TOs use the VRS roster as an "official roaster" then right now HEROIC would need at least 3 of the players from the July 7th roaster on their current roaster, which they currently have, but since tn1R is leaving for Spirit after EWC, then they'd be down to 2 players, LNZ and yxngxtxr, and since xfl0ud got benched in june and has now been brought back, he needs to play 5 of the last 10 matches before FISSURE to be "part" of the roaster. And since xfl0ud is only officially joining the team after EWC, then his first match would be on FISSURE, which he wouldnt be able to play because he still hadnt played with the team for 5 of the last 10 matches.. am i tweaking? damn nvm i am tweaking nilo has played with them for 10 out the last 10 matches so he's part of the roaster now
