Vitality sail past TYLOO to reach EWC semis
ZywOo was nigh-unstoppable on Inferno and came online late on Nuke to close out the series.

Vitality are through to the semi-finals of Esports World Cup after making light work of TYLOO in a two-map series (13-4 Inferno, 13-8 Nuke).
It was the first matchup between the organizations in over three years, their last having taken place when TYLOO were still scrambling to find a stable roster and rarely attended international tournaments.
The Chinese side has since become a contender, winning their first-ever LAN outside of Asia at FISSURE Playground 1 in July, but floundered at IEM Cologne immediately afterward and now failed to build on the success of their opening win over Astralis in Saudi Arabia.
Vitality were dominant from the outset of the series, with early multi-kills by William "mezii" Merriman giving way to an unstoppable rampage from Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut on Inferno.
The French phenom was otherwordly, tallying eight multi-kills, a clutch win, +18.33% Round Swing, and a 2.69 rating as he repeatedly struck down TYLOO's defaults and executes on the CT side, and he carried that into the second half by storming up Banana twice to net Vitality a swift victory.
Dongkai "Jee" Ji ripped Vitality apart with the AWP to the tune of a 12-2 K-D to grant TYLOO a flawless five-round headstart on Nuke, but that lead quickly dissipated once guns came back up for Vitality.
Shahar "flameZ" Shushan carved open bombsites and won two clutches as Vitality won six in a row to take the lead, and once the sides swapped over, ZywOo came back online and combined with the Israeli rifler to allow their side to romp to a comfortable victory.
Vitality set for eighth match vs. The MongolZ this year
Vitality move into the semi-finals of EWC with the victory, earning themselves yet another rematch against The MongolZ.

It will be the eighth time the two teams meet this year and already the third since the tournament break, with Vitality hungry for revenge after losing to Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren's side for the first time at BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals.
Jee steps up while JamYoung goes quiet
TYLOO struggled for much of the series, but particularly so on Inferno where Yi "JamYoung" Yang went completely absent. The MVP of FISSURE Playground 1 was a liability for his team and ended the map with a 2-13 K-D and 0.39 rating, with TYLOO leaning on Jee's performance to put up any semblance of a fight.
Jee's efforts alone weren't enough to fire back against a Vitality firing on all cylinders, though, and that was represented in the scoreline after TYLOO's 5-0 start on Nuke turned sour with just three rounds going their way for the rest of the map.
