The struggling sniper moves to the reserve after two years.

MIBR have moved Rafael "⁠saffee⁠" Costa to the bench, marking their second move of the season after bringing Nicollas "⁠nicks⁠" Polonio in for Lucas "⁠Lucaozy⁠" Neves during the tournament break.

saffee joined MIBR in June 2023 after an 18-month stint with FURIA. The AWPer won ESL Challenger Melbourne, MEO XL Cup, and RES Latin American Series during his two-year tenure, as well as placed 3-4th at ESL Pro League Season 20 and played at the Perfect World Shanghai Major and BLAST.tv Austin Major.

His performance suffered in 2025, dipping from last year's 1.07 rating to a 0.96 rating in the past eight months as MIBR were plagued by inconsistency, role overlaps, and a struggle to rise up around the output of Felipe "⁠insani⁠" Yuji.

The Brazilian team's struggles continued after they added nicks in July, starting the Fall season with a 9-12th finish at FISSURE Playground 1 and last place exits at IEM Cologne Stage 1 and BLAST Bounty Season 2.

saffee averaged a 0.87 rating across those three events, the third-highest on MIBR, followed by Breno "⁠brnz4n⁠" Poletto's 0.92 rating and insani's 1.15 rating as the team won just one out of six series and failed to tally a map win in any of their losses.

There is no good awp in brazil atm (maybe the only decent one being nqz), it is no coincidence that fallen went international, i would like even if it is temporary that Mibr would give a chance Shr to finally play in his role, trust me when i say this but Shr is probably the one of two best players in Portugal the other one being ewjerkz, he has a lot of potential unfortunately his last two offers he didn't play in his role.
