ECSTATIC bench Kristou, part ways with maNkz
The Danish sniper is out of the active lineup after 17 months.

ECSTATIC have moved Kristoffer "Kristou" Aamand to the inactive roster and mutually agreed not to continue Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen's trial as coach "due to [his] other personal commitments."
The changes come in the aftermath of the Danish team's last-place exit from the group stage of BLAST Open London following losses to FaZe and fnatic.
The former series saw ECSTATIC sour Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski's debut with a map win on Overpass, only for FaZe to humiliate the Danes 0-13 on Dust2 and eke out a 16-13 win on Inferno to close out the series.

Kristou tallied the second-lowest rating of his career (0.20) in the Dust2 defeat, finishing the map with a 0-13 K-D before recovering on the Inferno decider (0.97 rating).
The result marked a sour end to the 23-year-old's year-long tenure with the Danish organization, during which he averaged a 1.02 rating over 425 maps and won his first LAN title in two years after the team won Elisa Nordic Championship 2025 in May.
"Further updates will follow soon," ECSTATIC added in the announcement, leaving them with the following roster for now:
Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk
Anton "Anlelele" Huynh
Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard
William "sirah" Kjærsgaard

Martin 'nut nut' Holm Vestergaard
Marcus 'maNkz' Kjeldsen

Håvard 'rain' Nygaard
David 'frozen' Čerňanský
Helvijs 'broky' Saukants
Jakub 'jcobbb' Pietruszewski
Freddy 'KRIMZ' Johansson
Rodion 'fear' Smyk
Cai 'CYPHER' Watson
