Five teams progress to ESL Challenger League S50 regional finals
PARIVISION, BESTIA, NRG, Lynn Vision, and SemperFi have all won their regional cups.

The first round of the ESL Challenger League Season 50 regional cups has come to an end with PARIVISION (EU), BESTIA (SA), NRG (NA), Lynn Vision (APAC), and SemperFi (OCE) winning their respective tournaments and claiming their spot at their region's Finals.
With the first of four regional cup rounds complete, the five teams became the first to lock in their places in their region’s Finals.
In each region, three more rosters will join them across the next three iterations of the cups, with the aforementioned four-team finals then set to award one ESL Pro League S23 spot per region.

In Europe, PARIVISION came out on top in the 32-team field. The Russian squad lost to 9INE early on and dropped down to the lower bracket, but fought through OG, Zero Tenacity, 9INE, and eventually BetBoom to win the series and get one step closer to an EPL S23 berth.
In South America, BESTIA made the most out of Imperial and ODDIK's early exits due to forfeits. That gave them a good platform for a lower bracket run that included wins over Fluxo and RED Canids, before they narrowly dispatched 9z in the final.
NRG had an incredibly dominant run in North America and didn't lose a single map on their way to victory. LAG and BLUEJAYS were all comfortably beaten before a bye against Europe-bound M80 gave them a spot in the grand final, where they beat BLUEJAYS in a match marred by technical difficulties.
TYLOO, the highest-ranked team attending the Asian cup, withdrew from the competition due to attending the Esports World Cup. That meant Lynn Vision stormed to the title by beating Rare Atom twice and locking in their spot at the Asian Finals.
Last but not least was Oceania, where SemperFi beat Rooster in the grand final to lock in their spot. Alistair "aliStair" Johnston and company were dominant in a FlyQuest-less competition and lost just one map during their campaign.
The next round of regional cups will begin on September 8, while the four-team regional finals are set to happen in November.
