Xoma takes charge of Nemiga as boX announces break
The Russian team is swapping coaches ahead of two important LAN events.

Nemiga have announced that former 9 Pandas and Virtus.pro coach Andrey "Xoma" Mironenko has been handed the team's reins on an interim basis while head coach Anton "boX" Burko takes a break from competition.
"Throughout last year, our schedule has been quite a busy one: long flights, online and offline tournaments, intense bootcamps and daily trainings," Nemiga said in a statement.
"That type of life requires one’s physical and emotional health to be constantly tested. That’s why, at a certain point, taking a pause is inevitable."
Xoma has been inactive since June, when Astrum played their final tournament. Aleksandr "KENSI" Gurkin is the only player still tied to the organization after Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin was sold to HEROIC and the team's core, made up of Evgeny "Norwi" Ermolin, Robert "Patsi" Isyanov and Timur "clax" Sabirov, was transferred to Sangal.
The coaching change comes at a crucial time for Nemiga, who are currently ranked 29th in the Europe VRS, more than 200 points away from the qualification zone for the Budapest Major. The team also recently lost star player Ivan "zweih" Gogin, who was replaced by Maksim "sowalio" Beketov.

Nemiga are currently competing in ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup 2 and the closed qualifier for the Thunderpick World Championship. They also have two LAN events coming up: Betclic Clash Summer (September 13-14) in Gdansk, and Majestic LanDaLan 3 (September 25-28) in Moscow.
Nemiga are now:
Kirill "Xant3r" Kononov
Aliaksandr "1eeR" Nahorny
Maksim "sowalio" Beketov
Maksim "riskyb0b" Churikov
Beksultan "khaN" Ospan
Andrey "Xoma" Mironenko (interim coach)
Anton "boX" Burko (inactive coach)
