Falcons sweep FaZe to complete flawless group stage run at FPG2

Falcons got the job done at the first port of call in Belgrade.

Falcons are through to the playoffs of FISSURE Playground 2 after beating FaZe in two maps in the 2-0 pool.

Damjan "⁠kyxsan⁠" Stoilkovski's side didn't drop a map in their group stage run, which included wins over Virtus.pro and Legacy, and looked composed in victory over FaZe despite needing to fend off a comeback on Nuke.

Winning both pistols certainly helped in that regard, as did some excellent multi-fragging and late-round impact by Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač in Yard that made up for a quiet map from Maxim "⁠kyousuke⁠" Lukin.

FaZe found strings of rounds throughout the map despite starting both halves with economic disadvantages, but were stopped short of robbing away Falcons' pick after double and triple kill rounds from NiKo got his team over the line.

Jakub "⁠jcobbb⁠" Pietruszewski couldn't find the same impact as he had against paiN (1.43 rating) and 3DMAX (1.47 rating) in FaZe's previous matchups, but FaZe's individuals overall struggled to find impact down the line, with David "⁠frozen⁠" Čerňanský being the sole beacon of light on Nuke.

Silent showings out of Helvijs "⁠broky⁠" Saukants and Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard on Dust2, save for a pistol quad kill from the former in the second half, left FaZe destitute on their pick as Falcons romped to an easy 13-6 victory to earn their playoff berth.

I've been following the scene since 2016 dude and been playing since 1999. The question is: are you really enjoying it? What's the point any more if they simply outaim just about everyone?

I would have agreed with you if falcons just stomped everyone to win every single event but there are about 5 teams that have currently had a better year so who cares ?
