Esports World Cup dates announced for 2027

The tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will take place over the end of July.

The dates for the 2027 iteration of Esports World Cup have been announced, with the Saudi event set to take place July 16-August 1.

Previous editions of the tournament have taken place over the course of five days but from next year an extended schedule will take hold, with the 2026 and 2027 tournaments set to run for two weeks.

Esports World Cup's 2027 schedule clashes with FISSURE's second event of 2027, which is set to run July 12-19.

Whilst no further information has been announced regarding the format, 2025's tournament saw 16 teams brought together to play out a single-elimination bracket, with a prize pool of $1,250,000 on the line.

The MongolZ were the team to emerge triumphant in 2025, sealing their first Big Event win as a team, whilst pre-tournament favorites like Vitality, Spirit and MOUZ couldn't even make the final.
