The Canadian organization is giving CS another go, seven months after dropping its previous team.

NEKIZ's charges have signed with Gaimin Gladiators

Gaimin Gladiators have announced that they have completed the signing of the Brazilian roster known as ex-W7M. The news marks the Canadian organization's return to the Counter-Strike space, seven months after parting ways with its Danish roster, headlined by Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi and Fredrik "⁠roeJ⁠" Jørgensen.

The Brazilian team had been on the lookout for a new home since May, when W7M decided to leave the game, citing the "significant challenges to profitability and sustainability" for organizations that don't compete in the biggest tournaments.

Captained by former paiN and Legacy member Gabriel "⁠NEKIZ⁠" Schenato, the team is currently ranked 24th in the Americas. It will make its first official appearance for Gaimin Gladiators at FERJEE Rush, a 16-team LAN event scheduled for September 27-30 with over $27,000 in prizes.

‘Qualifying for this Major is very difficult, but we are all very realistic here and are thinking about the Major in Cologne," head coach João "⁠horvy⁠" Horvath told Dust2 Brasil.

"Of course, we want to qualify for the current Major, but we know that it is difficult, and it is good that there is no pressure, so we are playing more relaxed."

Team wanted to leave them I think. Basically the org did something that caused the roster to want to leave (And maybe get lawyers over something) but the players were willing to play the TI under the org, but the org just dropped out anyway
