The first day of Majestic LanDaLan has drawn to a close, with four games taking place on the opening day of the $50,000 event in Moscow, Russia.

BetBoom, 9BOOMPRO, TPuDCATb TPu and PARIVISION all picked up wins to open their group stage campaigns, consigning Betera, Nemiga, Spirit Academy and Nuclear TigeRES to defeats.

Perhaps the most surprising result of the opening day saw 9BOOMPRO, a mix-team featuring a raft of well-known names including Timur "⁠FL4MUS⁠" Marev, Sergey "⁠Ax1Le⁠" Rykhtorov and Aleksandr "⁠zorte⁠" Zagodyrenko, take down an established squad in the form of Nemiga.

After losing the opening map of Mirage, big performances by FL4MUS and Ax1Le saw 9BOOMPRO turn around the series and grab a memorable win to kick off their LAN campaign.

BetBoom delivered on their status as one of the pre-event favorites by picking up a win over Betera, thanks in no small part to the efforts of Daniil "⁠d1Ledez⁠" Kustov and Kirill "⁠Magnojez⁠" Rodnov.

A powerful CT-side showing by Magnojez granted BetBoom a win on Dust2, before the Russian side put up a miserable defense on Nuke in the face of Svyatoslav "⁠MaSvAl⁠" Masko's 3.11-rated T-side efforts.

d1Ledez had the last laugh, however, going huge on Train with a 2.26 rating to secure the series for his side.

PARIVISION picked up the easiest win of the day, bouncing back from a disappointing showing at StarLadder Starseries Fall by brushing aside Nuclear TigeRES in comfortable 2-0 fashion.

Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali and Vladislav "⁠xiELO⁠" Lysov ran riot across both maps, with strong T sides in particular ensuring PARIVISION enjoyed smooth sailing.
