PARIVISION claim Majestic LanDaLan 3 title

Jame's men have given themselves an outside chance of making the StarLadder Budapest Major.

PARIVISION have come out on top at Majestic LanDaLan 3, securing a 3-2 victory over BetBoom in the grand final of the local LAN in Moscow, Russia.

For their troubles, PARIVISION have climbed to #15 in Europe in the VRS standings, putting them in contention for a spot in Stage 1 of the StarLadder Budapest Major.

"One way or another, we weren't really counting on [the Major]," Emil "⁠nota⁠" Moskvitin had shared earlier in the event after PARIVISION's semi-final win over TPuDCATb TPu. "It would be good to play well at this event, with the rest being unimportant. The Major is secondary at the moment."

Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali's troops have no matches before the October 6 invitation cutoff, meaning that whether they qualify for the Major is entirely out of their hands at this point. The Russian side will be relying on the misfortunes of the likes of OG, Gentle Mates, SAW, and HEROIC if they wish to secure a Major berth.

The brawl of a grand final kicked off on BetBoom's first map pick of Mirage, where PARIVISION maintained an even 6-6 half thanks to the efforts of Vladislav "⁠xiELO⁠" Lysov, who posted an impressive 2.00 rating on the offense. BetBoom pulled ahead with a pistol round win, but found little else as PARIVISION wrapped up the first map 13-10.

BetBoom hardly gave PARIVISION room to breathe once the series headed to Dust2; although PARIVISION claimed both pistol rounds, they were unable to convert either time, allowing Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov's troops to tie up the series 1-1 after a 13-7 win.

PARIVISION rebounded on Ancient, slipping away from an early 3-3 scoreline to take a 9-3 lead on the offense thanks to yet another stunning performance by xiELO. A BetBoom pistol mitigated some of the damage, but it was not enough to deny PARIVISION the 13-7 victory.

With his team's backs to the wall, Boombl4 took charge and led by example on Train, posting an impressive 1.99 rating that helped BetBoom stave off elimination with a 13-8 win and giving them the chance to fight for the series on Overpass.

PARIVISION were uninterested in another close map, and made it known on Overpass. Jame's men dominated on the fifth map of the series, cruising to a one-sided 13-3 victory to secure PARIVISION the event win.
