C4LLM3SU3 on ESL ban: "We deserve any punishment from them"
The Lynn Vision rifler acknowledged the team's error in not double-checking their visas.

Prior to their upcoming outing at the CS Asia Championships 2025, Lynn Vision were poised to take part in ESL Pro League Season 22 in Sweden. Unfortunately for the Chinese side, expired visas forced the team to miss out on EPL, a difficult lesson further compounded by a ban issued from ESL for the next event Lynn Vision would have otherwise been invited to via the VRS.

Looking to shake off the mishap, Lynn Vision now have their sights set on a deep run on home turf, aiming to play in front of the crowd in Shanghai.
Lynn Vision rifler Qihao "C4LLM3SU3" Su sat down with HLTV during media day to discuss the team's expectations for CAC, the EPL visa situation, and his thoughts on their upcoming Major campaign in light of Lynn Vision's stellar run in Austin.
Or you can listen to the interview here.
Here with C4LLM3SU3 at your first big international LAN in China with Lynn Vision. How are you feeling?
I'm already used to playing with the team at big tournaments already, so I wouldn't be that excited, but this is like a local fight for us, so we hope we can do fine.
Before this event, you guys were supposed to be at ESL Pro League, but you encountered visa issues and you guys received a ban for the next ESL event. Can you shed a bit of light on that situation?
Yeah, it was unfortunate. When we were getting the visa before, the guy who helped us to get the visas said that we all got multiple visit in two years, but only me and Starry didn't get the same visa as them, we got one-time visit in one month. We wouldn't have expected that, but it's our problem not checking our visa expiration date, so that was very unfortunate.
Did you anticipate the ban from ESL?
I mean, we deserve any punishment from them, because it's our fault.

As far as the second half of the season goes, you did quite well at FISSURE 1, making quarter-finals, but not so well at FISSURE 2. Would you chalk it up to tougher teams, or was there something else that contributed to the result?
We were there bootcamping five days before the event started, but unfortunately, Westmelon got a fever, and he was being super sick for three to four days, so we didn't actually get to practice before the event.
What are the expectations here?
Here, I think we are going to make playoffs, at least. That's our goal, first step, and [then] probably make it to the semi-finals.
How do you feel about the MIBR opening matchup?
We don't think they are a very tough team to beat, but anyways we respect our opponent. We're going to try our best to win the BO1.
I don't know if you've thought about this yet because the Major is a month away, but do you feel like there might be pressure for you guys to make another deep Major run after your run in Austin?
Not really. We don't really have pressure on what kind of result we're going to have. We've been there, we went through the process, and this time we think it's even easier to make it to the same place, and we hope we can break our record again, even for the playoffs.
