gr1ks top-frags as BIG beat BC.Game for berth at Skyesports Chennai
JACKZ's Mousquetaires have also qualified for the event in India.

Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin was top of the scoreboard for new side BIG as he helped them beat BC.Game 2-0 for a spot at Skyesports Chennai.
Denis "electroNic" Sharipov's debut event back alongside Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was spoiled by the Belarussian sniper, but BC.Game had barely even made the semi-final after having to come back from 10-2 down against NOVAQ on map three in the round prior.
On the other half of the bracket, Mousquetaires overcame FUT and MOLO for a spot on LAN and a chance to face BIG in the grand final.

gr1ks and BIG will be pleased after a good result in their second event since removing Karim "Krimbo" Moussa and switching the captaincy to academy graduate Lukas "FreeZe" Hegmann.
The drastic move came after the team dropped as low as 48th on the world ranking, a freefall since the end of the partner system at the start of 2025 (when BIG were 20th).
Whether this online victory will lead to greater success remains to be seen, but it can only be a positive that gr1ks has posted 1.02 KPR and a 1.54 rating over the five-map qualifier so far.

BIG and Mousquetaires are set to be joined by True Thunder, Nemesis SEA, and two Indian qualifier teams at the $49,000 event in Chennai.
The tier-two, Tamil Nadu-backed, CEGC is a replacement for Skyesports Masters 2025, which the Indian tournament organizer canceled on October 7 in the latest of a series of struggles for the company.
Issues around Skyesports' events also include BetBoom's withdrawl of Skyesports Championship 2024 over conditions, and the cancellation of Skyesports Souvenir 2025 and all of their slated tier-one events for 2026.
