Shimmer sign with Sakura ahead of Impact Finals
Last season's finalists have found organizational support.

Sakura have announced the signing of the ex-Shimmer roster ahead of the ESL Impact 8 Finals.
The LAN tournament will be the last of its kind after ESL announced that the premier women's competition will end after the conclusion of its eighth season.

Sakura, who played under the Shimmer moniker during the group stage, finished the North American portion of the tournament as runners-up with a 6-1 record. Their only loss came at the hands of eventual winners FlyQuest RED, who will be the region's second representative at the LAN Finals.
Sakura will aim to go one better than in Season 7, where they lost in the final against a FURIA fe team that missed out on an appearance this time around.
The finals will be played in Stockholm, Sweden, and award a $223,000 prize pool split between players and clubs. The tournament will begin on November 28 with two four-team GSL groups feeding into a single-elimination best-of-three playoff.
Sakura are:
Wrenna "Stx" Trampel
Lucy "empathy" Verkaik
Lydia "Fawx" Dalton
Raven "raven" Sol
Sylvie "Serendipity" Splaver
Victor "Ink" Rozvora (coach)

Lucia 'lulitenz' Dubra

Mounira 'GooseBreeder' Dobie
Vivienne 'BiBiAhn' Quach
