IEM Chengdu 2025FURIA make IEM Chengdu final after third consecutive win over Falcons
FalleN's troops have made their third final in four events.
FURIA have defeated Falcons in a two-map series (Inferno 13-5, Mirage 13-11) to qualify for the IEM Chengdu playoffs.
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's troops will now face Vitality in the best-of-five final, while Falcons are set to meet MOUZ in the third-place decider.

The match began on Inferno, where FURIA tried to make the most out of Falcons' weakness. The plan worked perfectly early on, as FalleN's troops locked down the CT side with a 10-2 scoreline.
FalleN and Yuri "yuurih" Santos were indomitable on the A site while Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis's aggression on B disrupted Falcons' T side, which paved the way to a comfortable 13-5 victory despite Falcons winning the second-half pistol.
Mirage was a much closer affair, as FURIA needed to recover after a slow start to go into the switch 5-7 down. Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin found an ace late on in the first half to keep his team ahead, but the young rifler couldn't do the same in the second half.
Despite fragging out and finishing the map on 26 kills, his teammates were unable to back him. The final nail in the coffin came in the last round of regulation, where Falcons lost a 4vs2 situation to drop the map 11-13.
Falcons go missing again
After a flawless group-stage campaign in Chendgu, during which Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's men didn't lose a single map, Falcons have once again gone missing in a high-octane match.
While kyousuke did his best to drag his team to victory with a 1.33 rating, he was 0.36 ahead of his closest teammate Nikola "NiKo" Kovač at 0.97.
René "TeSeS" Madsen joked about not receiving any more radar screenshots before the match, but Falcons inability to convert advantageous situations reared it's ugly head once again after they lost a 4vs2 in the final round of the match.
"I have to give credit to FURIA, they are playing really good CS," Danny "zonic" Sørensen said in a post-match interview.
"Especially on Inferno, it felt like we were getting read. We couldn't transition the atmosphere or the level that we showed in the group stage."
