k1ck moves back to Group D

Portuguese-based k1ck have been moved back to Group D at the Electronic Sports World Cup 2010.

The team was subject to a move from Group D to Group F, after it was known that TyLoo.raw would not make an appearance at the ESWC 2010. The organization did however not take this likely, and issued a formal complaint to the organizers.

Their homepage is now reporting that they have been moved back to Group D, escaping the grasp of Natus Vincere and compLexity who both are stationed in Group F.

Questions are being raised against Group F, as only two teams are in it. Taken into account that the tournament structure leads to two teams advancing to a second group stage, Na´Vi and compLexity would not even have to play each other (in theory).

Stay tuned to HLTV.org as we are awaiting information on how Group F will unfold.

Group F teams should be moved onto other two 3 team groups in my opinion if they wont find any other team to fill that spot.

You can't do that due to the seeding pools. I mean, which group gets the lower tiered teams and who gets the higher ones? You will really mess with the groups you put the others into since there is that weird seeding structure.

Just because K1CK doesn't have fox you are all saying they are shitty...Maybe they are worse yeah, but this is also a chance for the other members to prove their value, so at the same time it's good that fox isn't attending ESWC... axoN is a nice aimer, I think Gax has something to prove, coachi is a good igl, muTt is an insane aimer and SHOUW is also a great player...I hope they can shut you all up -.- Are they favourites? It is great to see this issue resolved, I mean it all honesty this is the fairs way to do it. Also Na’Vi and Complexity must play each other to determine who has higher and lower seeding in the bracket rounds. A 2 team group is not as big of a deal, as not giving a team the opportunity to prepare like the rest of them.

Fair decision. The only problem that arises from this is the fact that the Navi/coL group only has 2 teams - but its purely ESWC's fault for doing 3-team groups in the first place anyway so they'll just have to deal with it and leave the 2 teams as is. Hopefully they learn from this and next year do groups of 4 or more, and have even numbers in all groups.

loool k1ck is the most hated time out there :D in portugal a lot of people hates coachi in the world a lot of people hate the all team... loool. I think that it's fair just like i commented in the other new... Underdog teams like k1ck in this case, have to do a lot of anti strat and use the main tactics at the group stage... if they prepared in 2 days even little, to play alternate the only team they need to beat bessides eu4ia, ofc they were pissed knowing that in the day that they traveled to france they were moved to navis and col's group that is a lot difrent from what they are prepared for. I'm not beting on any one.. i'm not a k1ck fan or any team fan.. But alternate seem a little crapy to me i woudln't be surprised if k1ck even with gax beat them like i woudn't be surprised if k1ck got raped by alternate either away... good call from the organization.
