Our Dreamteam game for World Cyber Games 2010 is now open, set your team, compete to beat your friends and win juicy prizes from SteelSeries.

World Cyber Games 2010 is due to start on Thursday in Los Angeles and we have now ready to opened up the doors for the Dreamteam game. The tournament will kick off Thursday, with a limited amount of matches and continue till Sunday, where the Grand Final will stand. Below is an approximately breakdown of when the market will close and re-open.

The market will close at 21:00CET on Thursday
The market will re-open at 24:00CET on Friday
The market will close again at 18:00CET on Saturday
The market will re-open 01:00CET on Sunday
The market will close at 18:00CET on Sunday

Please note that the Dreamteam game is requiring us to process the server data, which at times might take time to gather and could possibly delay the process. Also in the event of delays at the tournament, the times will change depending on the amount of delay.

I think it will actually. Lions have proven that they are in the top elite, just by playing in WCG 2010. And, the players you buy in the begining of the dreamteam usualy leaves the team along the way.

sry but that tactic doesn't work, cuz not all of them can perform well at the same time, except if they win all their match with scores like 16 - 2 what you need to do is finding the players who will do well in the group stage (just look at the groups, it's fairly obvious), then sell them to take the players from the team you think is gonna win the whole tournament

this was a tips! ok a real one then... Na'Vi should do well (starix is always great in groups stages), but they only have 1 team do beat so I would not chose one of them. Same for F2F, EG, iM, Lions, these teams are good but could be upset early, the wisest choice would be to bet on unfair groups ;) mTw, WMF and p00nhandlers (FG) should destroy their oppononents, take as many of them as you can. B4G, SK, coL, Lions, FX, TyLoo, Area51 should make it through their group and make some money also kuben (tac leader) niko (sniper) minet (entry fragger pwjrN (newbie) HEL1 (pistoleer) for example PS: If you win one of the prize now you'll have to send me half of it ;)

I never said that was the players I wanted to buy, was just stating an example. It's just that many of these teams are totaly new to me. I've heard of them but I never seen any of them in action, especialy not against some greater teams.

What parts of the tournament are played on which days? Are all the group matches played in its entirety on Thursday (before the market reopens for the first time)? Or is it something like groups A-D on Thursday, E-H on Friday, brackets on Saturday and Finals on Sunday?

Executioners are sure to go through to the playoffs. But they are playing Na'Vi first, so you would want to reconsider choosing a player from their team.

Isn't it wiser to choose players from teams who have more games to play ? for example , navi plays 1 game but WMF plays 3 games. So wmf player can gain 3 times more value during the group stages ?

Are the groups final or are there some teams that are going to be added to the groups? Confused! - If Group B has only Na'Vi and Executioners, so that means they directly qualify to the next round, isn't it? Moreover, because of this they'll just playing one game ... would that be some kind of unfairness?

well.. Anyone want to tell me if the things Im planning to do in DT are good.. Well.. I have a "plan" for this DT.. Its like.. Im buying "cheap" players that Im sure that they will raise their value in the group stage.. Then I will buy other players for the next stage.. I have in my DT wazorN ave termi bail esenin mtw, full gaming, and navi are in the easiest group those players will easily raise their values I think.. So then I sell some and buy anothers.. Is this profitable?

the increase in value for certain player depends on how many frags he has done and how many rounds he has survived. So the more games with easier opponents the more is profit.. For your case esenin can earn you not much cause he plays only 1 game,whereas wazorn plays 3. Of course it's a matter of their performance but wazorn can(NOT DEFINITELY WILL) earn you much more. Besides you should know that a fee for selling the player who has played 1-2 games is more than for the one who has played 3 or more.

I do understand how DT works.. and in case of esenin I had 1.3k to spend.. I think he was the best cuz you will have weak oponnents.. while I could spen on other player but the others will have tough oponnents so.. wazorN will play good on first matchs.. you will see. :P I was only try to get the opinion of you people to figure if my "strategy" is good for this event..
