The winner of our WCG contest in cooperation with SteelSeries has been found, receiving the brand new SteelSeries Siberia v2 Blue edition.

Prior to WCG 2010, we in cooperation with SteelSeries announced a contest, where you had the chance to win the SteelSeries Siberia v2 Blue edition. A total of 2,405 entries were made and a lot predicted the Ukrainians from Natus Vincere to win.

To find the winner between all the valid entries, we randomly drew out one lucky winner and the winner is:

The lucky stud will soon crown his prediction skills with the SteelSeries Siberia v2 Blue edition, while the rest of you will have to try your luck next time we feature a similar contest.

Of course. He had a 1 in 2405 chance to win, just like everyone else who guessed Na´Vi (me included). That would be considered luck. EDIT: After re-reading the text I notice that there were 2405 people who voted and "a lot" of those people guessed Na´Vi. So maybe 1 in 1800.

nah man, closer to 1 in 380.. just use page search and search for "NaVi", "Na'Vi" and "Natus Vincere".. the combination of all these is 402, but then there are a lot of repetitions in some cases.. so I took 20 off. gratz Gun4s!!! you had 0.26% to win and you did it!

I thinks this is kinda unfair, I guessed TOP3, why did he win it because he just said Na'Vi? The user won because the raffle result was his post number. That is, what ever the user said about needing this or that is not taken into account. Glad you guessed the top3 but as only the winner was asked for 2nd and 3rd place guessed right are not of importance.

I was thinking about it, because I just accused, and many on mIRC agreed with me, the ones that came into my pvt, or a friend of mine on STEAM, that also said the same, I just don't think it's fair, he won, I repeat, I THINK SEC, underlining/bolding that he guessed the top3 or top4, I guessed top3, don't I deserve the same treatment that he did? That's ok then.

We collect all the posts that said NaVi as winner, we then draw a random number, say there are 600 posts, we then draw a number, if it is 300 we take post number 300 and he wins the prize.. It is totally random, and it is not biased towards anyone, we love all our users :)

Even thinking of SEC, if there are more users than one right there is a raffle and the same criteria applies, the post number. Thus you or any other who guessed the top3 right received the same treatment. I don't know what is wrong with that actually according to you.

I just don't see anything that Nomad said, because I didn't saw on SEC on the topic saying 'GUESS TOP3', and it seems that in SEC had difference, you would not make us see it, if it wasn't important, he guessed the top 3, you said, "Just like he said, guessing the top3 in his comment." I just wanted to know why wasn't this receaving the same treatment, refering to WCG, ofcourse, didn't wanted to cause all this conversation... O_O

So you are complaining that during WCG instead of top3 the contest asked only for the winner? I presume it was done that way because it is harder to guess the top3 of a competition like WCG than guessing it with regard to SEC. You say you did it, fine but, unfortunately, it wasn't required in order to win or enter the raffle of users who guessed it right ;)

Sure it is harder but if it is not required it is just not. As simple as that. As for multiple accounts that kind of stuff is checked and, as you might have seen in the past, cheaters are not given any prize.
