DH reveal 2011 & 2012 dates

The DreamHack chiefs have announced the official dates for their 2011 and 2012 events.

The announcement comes shortly after the DreamHack organization signed a new deal with Elmia, whose venue has been used for ten years, to use their locale throughout 2011 and 2012.

"Last event we broke all earlier records and we can easily conclude that the customer demand is bigger then ever", an official statement reads.

A new milestone was set after the 2010 winter edition. Never before had any of their events accommodated so many people, and yet another Guinness World Record was obtained.

The potential of having DreamHack at Elmia is still huge and with an amazing track record the last years we now continue on the same path and get a closer co-operation. DreamHack is attracting an huge audience to the region and we are now planning to offer a even better festival experience and exciting news for our visitors and partners the upcoming events", DreamHack CEO Robert Ohlén said.

With the new deal signed, the future dates have now been revealed:

DreamHack Summer 2011: 18-21 June
DreamHack Winter 2011: 24-27 November
DreamHack Summer 2012: 16-19 June
DreamHack Winter 2012: 22-25 November

As displayed above, the next event will therefore take place in Jönköping, Sweden, between June 18-21.

I think Starcraft 2 can be called better than CS, because SC2 scene is alot bigger than CS, it's fresh and most rts gamers outside Korea now play starcraft 2, but we can't predict if it's going to be as entertaining as Starcraft or even CS, it's not balanced yet SC>CS>SC2 as for now
