WCG Portugal to start in May
The Portuguese Counter-Strike qualifier for World Cyber Games 2011 is reportedly set to take place sometime in May.
Portugal has been without a World Cyber Games qualifier for Counter-Strike since 2008, something the previous license holders have justified by putting traveling and lodging costs to blame.
However, Portuguese sources last month reported that new organizers had taken over the license and were looking to add new games to the qualifier, including Counter-Strike.
According to defs.org, Counter-Strike has now indeed been introduced as an official qualifier game, with the qualifying process to start sometime in May.
Further information, such as dates and location, have so far not been made known, but defs.org are claiming that it will be released within short time.
World Cyber Games will for 2011 be returning back to its homeland, South Korea, with reports speculating the host city to be Busan.
