k1ck, Defs, GTZ in Iberian League

The ESL has announced the names of the Portuguese teams who will compete in the Iberian League.

The biggest surprise in the team selection for the league comes in the omission of Paranoids, who won XLParty earlier this month and will play theSGL's European Challenge.

Both Defs and k1ck attended the XLParty event in Pombal, finishing in second and third place, respectively. Together with GTZ-Gaming, they join x6tence, DN-Gaming and Gaming.CO as the teams invited by the ESL for the league, which will feature 12 teams, six from Portugal and Spain.

Meanwhile, the Spanish and Portuguese qualifiers for the competition have been played out, meaning that the final participants' list for the Iberian League will look as follows:

LOL look who's speaking the inetmaster :D and the problem about them playing more time lan then net, is that they are so much more "skilled" inet then lan, oh well, thats just my eyes speaking, im probably blind... but as you can I'm not the only one saying this... and sadly im not a lanboy cause I like to waste my money on other things then lan... but at least when I go, I kill as much as inet :o ps: lunatic-hay being a mix of friends who play for fun, makes them lan boys instead of inet boys ?

Island teams? You mean Açores because I don't see any Madeira team in there. At least not that I know. And also, the so called "island teams" are mostly "ruling" he internet because while you drive by car to your EPT and whatever, our teams have to go by plane, wich means more expenses to us ;) And we barely have a team that actually has support.

Why would it be disgusting? would you rather have the FEW decent Portuguese teams playing agains't each others in the quarters/semi's and then not make it to the iberian finals? Disgusting is having 3 completely unknown teams playing there when it's 100% clear that they'll be the joke of the tournament. Paranoids are clearly missing on that list, don't know why GTZ got the invitation instead of them, and that MIGHT be the reason why they didn't play the qualifier

You must be a retard seriously...instead of supporting all Portuguese teams you start talking trash. Realize one thing, it's EXPENSIVE for "Island Teams" to go to lans in Lisbon! I don't see any of you guys in the mainland paying 200-300 euros to come play Lans here on the Azores either (Lans which DO EXIST!). Get us the money and we'll take a couple of Azorean teams to Lisbon to shut you up... Besides if you're going to QQ about it, next time, make a team and try to qualify...
