HLTV.org launch tournament series

AIM4FAME is a private Counter-Strike 1.6 1-on-1 tournament strictly for the HLTV.org gaming community.

There will be a total of 64 slots available each week, in which all players from HLTV.org are welcome to participate in the tournament to take home their piece of the prize pot!

The tournament buy-in is €1, but fear not, we got you covered, as long as you sign up through HLTV.org's affiliate link.

Further prizes might be added later on for the gifted gamers.

In order to participate in the tournament you have to sign up at Begosu.com through this link.

When doing so, you will receive a free €2, which you can use to sign up in the first HLTV.org AIM4FAME tournament. But remember: you will only receive the free €2 if you sign up through this link.

The final tournament details will be revealed later this week, so stay tuned and remember to sign up as soon as possible at Begosu.com.

Game: Counter-Strike 1.6 (1on1)
Players: 64 slots
Tournament Restrictions: Only players from HLTV.org, with the correct password, can sign-up and participate in this tournament
Brackets: Single elimination (MR10) + MR3 Overtime
Location: Tournament is played online
Tournament Sign-up period: Every Monday at 18:00 CET until Sunday at 18:50 CET
Tournament Starting time: Every Sunday at 19:00 CET in the PC Chat Lobby here on BeGosu
Tournament Ending time: Every Sunday at 23:00 CET
Tournament Regulations/General information: Servers will be announced in the PC Chat Lobby
Buy-in: €1.00
Prize Pot: Paid out to the TOP 4 winners

Mapcycle
All rounds are played on the regular aim_map

All participants are required to play with EasyAntiCheat.

Please see Anti-Cheat Information at Begosu.com. Make sure that you have EasyAntiCheat installed and working before playing the tournament. If you cannot make EasyAntiCheat work on your PC you will lose by default, so test and install it before joining the tournament. Also remember to add your STEAM ID to your profile under gamertags, which you can do under "OPTIONS".

All participants needs to be available in the PC Chat Lobby at Begosu.com 10 minutes before tournament starts (18:50 CET).

Brackets will be visible upon the start of tournament in the top of this page, via a blue icon called BRACKETS.

yes serv's location is a big problem for south americans, here from north africa, I have between 80 & 120 in scandinavian servs, i'll try to participate :D

You can tell that from the way people are posting, ping is the main concern. An EU/US tournament would probably be more fair, then everyone can play! :D
