Nah not really. Last year in São Paulo was just a day-off SK had and a very lucky run for C9. Maybe they got hyped because they were playing in the opponent's home and it was their chance to defeat SK in their home soil, which is the same thing SK does to NA teams in NA region. The truth is: since that match I have never seen Cloud9 play as good as they played in that final. But right now I don't think Cloud9 has what it takes to beat SK especially in the form SK is on right now and in Best-of-5 LAN final. Sorry, but if final is SK x Cloud9, SK wins all the way.

Imo Cloud 9 really stands a shot seeing that this is Bo5. Cloud 9 has one of the deepest map pools (can pretty much play any map to a high level) But if they want to beat SK, not only shroud, but Stewie and autimatic needs to turn up much more. Still I hope C9 will win.

I think it would have to be a major to be 1 of biggest ever but it would be a big deal for sure. IDK why but I feel like the more maps it goes the easier for SK but C9 could win in 5 with some OT or really close 1s. I think C9 needs to stun SK and win 3-1 and hit them hard and fast if they wanna win. Shaky navi? They played pretty damn good overall, I don't think there was one player on their team below 70 ADR for the series vs C9. All of them aside from Seized played good, and GuardiaN was also in top form (or almost top form), and they still got 2-0'd. That goes to show you what C9 is capable of... The problem is that Shroud is such an unpredictable player and you never know what to expect out of him in any given series on lan. C9 with Shroud on his game = a scary proposition. If he didn't step it up in their series and instead played like the typical "onliner" shroud in big games, they would have lost to Na'Vi. If he can not choke and actually play with confidence like yesterday C9 can definitely pick up at least 2 maps vs SK.. I mean SK dropped a map to Optic the other day playing with Hazed...

navi isnt shaky? Are you serious? :[ i guess when navi beated g2, ppl started to have hopes again. Navi got a nutty aimer like s1mple, a godlike awper like guardian, and an overall CS legend like Edward. They got all the pieces to win big things, but their teamwork and strats are just sub par ever since seized took the leading. They heavily rely on individual performances to win rounds obviously(guardian 3k, flamie 3k spray down etc etc). C9 is definitely better in terms of current form and they shouldve stomped navi pretty convincingly, but the scores were way too close.

If SK had not won 3-0, you could bet that Cloud9 could do a 3-2 comeback, because the last 2 maps are NA home turf, Cache and Mirage. And if they had won that inferno they would be roaring with confidence for the last 2 maps. SK's chance to win were the 3-0 and they took it.

C9 have a great read on SK are approaching B early on in the rounds, SK adjust to it. Otherwise, C9 are willing to turtle into bombsites so SK just want to run contact plays (which is fine since C9 have full utility), they just aren't getting the entry they need.
