It's been a really great run for Faze but I think it ends here. Gambit has looked pretty ok on LAN which is absolutely great for them. They'll be one of the teams that makes the transition. And Faze particularly on T sides and even in this tournament is shaky as fuck. Don't think you can be shaky on half the game versus a team of this caliber. But still Faze's performance here has shocked me literally. Look rejuvenated and I really like Twistzz, Karrigaan and Olof so I'm happy for them. Top 8 is a great achievement considering. And if they do somehow pull out a win. Fucking hats off man. I have no idea how they will with Rain and Karrigan being such black holes in terms of performance but bigger upsets have happened.

If Faze manage to snag the first map, Gambit and Faze both will be firing on all cylinders, meaning we have a game on our hands. I think it really comes down to the maps, but even then, if you look at how many times each maps was played by each team Gambit has played these maps around 50/60% more than Faze... Like I said, as a Faze supporter I'm more than happy for what they've achieved here, quarters for their abysmal performance since karrigan joined is very good

Yeah this faze roster is still kinda fresh.. But look at individual performance of twistzz broky and rain. They look pretty good here on Cologne and if they can keep up, it could be really interesting match.. Karrigans calls looks pretty good too especially on CT side which they mostly rely on. Gambit have FULL pressure on them + looking very weak lately (too little practise I suppose, however 1 free week off now..), faze is quite a bad team, however Karrigan and the bois (especially karrigan) have zero pressure vs gambit here, which is big time advantage for the faze bois. Its a little bit of both why I think this match is so close. Its Faze being way better than usual Faze not only in this match but in this tournament as well. They beat teams they would never touch online. And on the other hand Gambit is like actually HYPERchocking both ancient from 11-1 and almost Overpass from 15-10 while HEAVILY outfragging. Faze have everything to lose in this tournament. They are the ultimate underdogs based on past results. With their experience and stronger focus and preparation against teams they have to punch upwards against, they are simply succeeding. The only way is up.
