So many pros have issues with even a bo5 (eg: hobbit), and you're asking about both bo3 and bo5 on the same day xD. The problem is that for them, things are much different. It's not just another match like we play everyday. It is literally their job, and they have to work very hard (stratting, anti-stratting, practising, etc) for every match. Also, remember that groups are Round Robin, which means they won't even have a single break anytime. It is 1 week of non-stop staring into a screen, with full attention. It can cause problems.

the amount of focus and preparation on pro cs is insane, there are lot of interviews about that on youtube, you should check some of them, this will definetly be 12h+ of maximum focus cs for navi players

even stupider is that spirit/na'vi need to play AT LEAST 5 maps (assuming noe fo them wins 2-0 in BO3 at 15 and then wins 3-0 on this final) assuming that the lower final won't go into the decider which it probably will since both teams are very good. And the challange of beating gambit seems genuinwly impossible. I thik at this point gambit have a 1% chance of losing (aside of throwing or some shit)

Trust me bro I know, disappointing being a fan of theirs right now. They veto Vertigo, Inferno is a joke like you said and yet they would still rather play Inferno and lose then try Ancient... You can't not play/be shit on 3/7 maps and be successful. Dust 2 is god tier, Overpass is alright, Mirage and Nuke could use some work too... They desperately need to work on making Ancient or Vertigo one of their maps. The skills is there, Mir and SDY are pretty consistent, Degster and Magixx are slowly getting better and better and becoming more consistent. Chopper is a good fragging IGL even if hes not tactically the best... the map pool just isn't there right now

Yeah, +1. I'm kinda surprised they left inferno instead of Ancient. Spirit used to be a decent Inferno team back then but something came apart. During entire RMR, they played inferno 5 times. Twice vs K23 and once vs NaVi, 100pg and VP in succession. Before the game, I knew they must somehow win mirage and close everything out on D2. I had a two possible scenarios: A) Spirit winning 2-0 B) NAVI hosing Spirit down by the 2-1 victory There was no way they're gonna win inferno. For me, they looked maybe slightly better than in the previous games but they shot themselves in the foot due to losing many impossible situations. Additionally, s1mple went full god mode. Idk, they would've taken a risk by leaving Ancient as a third map. They MUST deploy some corrections and they must work on remaining maps. You can't win the biggest tournaments while having only one strong map, 3-4 okay maps and one map where you can't even beat fucking 100PG. I said it many times, Spirit has all possibilities to become stable TOP 5 team. I mean, they have a great firepower actually, one of the best teams in the world when it comes to aiming and stuff, they also have solid structure, I think they just need to work on their strabook. They always seem to run out of strats when the game is being played longer than expected. If they lose one or two players they instantly give up and keep randomly running towards arbitrary site. Long bootcamp would fix these issues imo. Maybe Certus doesn't do his job properly? I have no idea to be honest, I'm not inside, I'm not sitting in their heads so probably we won't find out what's the main problem of Spirit. I hope they will surprise at IEM Cologne anyways... I'm worried af about this mappool.
