Because LNZ is support player and does well in clutches lately. And he gets impact with Deagle without LNZ showing up actually NIP would of lost important game before so idk what you watching. While Plopski i do agree he doesn't have as good aim or game sense but he fits well in this lineup. NIP need to win Overpass convincingly otherwise I write off their chances. ENCE is better on Ancient than Overpass. From the start it looks NIP will still probably win Overpass but not convincingly and Mirage will be EZ 4 Ence and Ancient will be a close one that I think ENCE could close out and Nuke should be a close one but if it goes to Dust 2 then ENCE will close that one out for sure.

The mvp is about the best individual player it should never be given to someone who didn't show up frag wise in the server. For that we should come up with a different award. Also yes device won nip this tournament. They wouldve Gone out in the group stage without him

thats kinda delusional. forcing another rule of giving mvp to the best player of losing team just becasue its boring to give it to the best player only because he comes for a winning team. device was the best player in that game and not giving him an mvp only because hes on the winning side would be a robbery. theres something wrong with the mindset.

Does "star player" also call the strats and mid round calling? I don't think so. How GORILLAZ and EF working out without decent igl, not so well. ;)

so should we give mvp for IGL cause of his strats? IGL is spending time to prepare strats, while star players are spending time to grind and get better. its not like IGL is doing more, he just reads the game and tell the team what to do, but how would they do, and if they succes, that depends if the star players delivers. if not, even the greatest strategist will fall. the gorillaz argument is a mess. how did fnatic do without pronax? okayish but not best, how did pronax do without star players in godsent? bad af. also when it comes to opening kills and clutches, theres no input from the IGL, it just depends on raw/pure skill and maybe a bit of luck. also what if u have best IGL but medicore players? will it succes? what if the guys wont give 2-3 headshots while entering the site, or kill 2-3 when defending it? what if they lose every single opening duel and clutch? just look at old navi when starix was calling. if there was no guardian the team would fall apart. he called amazing, but zeus/edward/seized couldnt deliver so it was a matter if guardian can hit his shots. if not, a site is lost, an advantage is on the enemy side. also gla1ve, an amazing IGL. before joining astralis with great danish players he didnt succes with medicore players, but why? they had an amazing IGL, why they couldnt get to top5? well, the star players wasnt there to execute the plan. how did flipsid3 do without s1mple? medicore at its best, but with s1mple? they were ready to fight. same goes for liquid, maybe there was a plan, maybe there was a mid round calling, but after losing s1mple they couldnt get on the level they was with him. same goes for lg/sk and brilliant plays by fer/coldzera/fallen. it was fallen to call, but without the performance of those guys, they wouldnt succes, just look at kabum. everybody can be the igl, everybody can be a support and throw the flashes, but you cant be the star player without ur aim and understanding of the game. you are either good enough or not, you are either s1mple/zywoo or not. apex from being a support/star player at one point became the IGL and hes doing fine but he was never close to be the guy that decides how the game is played. the greatest IGL cannot win the game by himself if he has medicore players (old navi, flipsid3, mouz after niko left, mibr, godsent), but the star player can win a game by himself if he has medicore igl. (zywoo, s1mple, dev1ce, oskar). love it how Tyson said "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face", just switch punched with headshot for the csgo.
