Transfer Recap: September

Missed some of the many lineup changes last month? We bring you a recap of all the changes made in September.

Kicking off the month, on the 3rd the German-based organization, myXMG, acquired the service of the Brits representing TeamCRG. Meanwhile, in an interview, Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski, revealed that he has wrapped up his pro-gaming, but hints at still being around eSports. Later that day, AWESOME came to life, with Jacob "Pimp" Winneche teaming up with his former Western Wolves teammate, Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen, and three former players from Eternity, including Morten "coloN" Johansen.

Still in the same afternoon, EYES ON U finalize their roster by picking up Malte "Herden" Boelt from Vikings, leaving the latter down to 4 members. Two days later, a new French team surfaces. We Got Game, led by former LDLC.com captain Vincent "Happy" Cervoni is joined by the former 3DMAX duo Robin "GMX" Stahmer and Joey "fxy0" Schlosser.

On the 17th, LGB undergoes another roster change, this time Dennis "dennis" Edman replaced Andreas "maxAki" Andersson.

On the 18th, Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas, interrupted his 4 months retirement to join ASES, after Kirian "Yaba" Martínez’s need to step down from the active lineup. On the other side of the Atlantic, Kevin "AZK" Lariviere returned to Curse from whom he had left with Justin "mosbeck" Mosbeck weeks earlier. Both Stan "stan^" Sukachov and Moe "moE" Assad had been standing-in for the team, but with Lariviere’s return, Assad lost his place in the squad.

FlipiN's retirement wasn't final after all

Still on the 18th,  Hélder "coachi" Sancho, was brought back to K1ck one year later after being cut during the team’s transition to CS:GO, this time to fill in the gap left by Vicens "vis" González, who has taken a break from gaming to focus on his studies. Meanwhile, Copenhagen Wolves welcomed Jacob "Pimp" Winneche to their team, who stepped in for  Nicolai "device" Reedtz.

On the 19th, AWESOME, which became one man short due to Jacob "Pimp" Winneche’s move to CPH Wolves the day before, found their replacement with Nikolaj "EXR" Therkildsen. Meanwhile on North-America, Danny "fRoD" Montaner’s team, cuLtivation, signed with Denial eSports.

The 20th, started with a bang, when former Golden Five member Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski announced his new team with two members that had been trialing with ESC Gaming, Piotr "peet" Ćwikliński and Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny. But a more surprising comeback arrived from Spain, as Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent finally made the jump to competitive CS:GO, a year after he was last seen in the CS pro-scene.

On the 23, Lions eSportKlubb unveiled their female squad in anticipation of the Norwegian ESWC qualifier. Anette "Cazzidy" Skarderud returned this way to the CS pro scene, this time alongside Ivelina "HellRose" Danova. Meanwhile in Ukraine, KerchNET underwent another roster change as Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov, who had been teamless since July, filled the hole left by Ruslan "krutoi" Kolodinsky.

Two days later, ESC Gaming lost their newly created German squad after Christoph "disruptor" Dölger’s team learned the organisation wouldn’t be able to support them financially, resulting on the shutdown of the German squad, but also in the disbandment of the team. The same afternoon, Wizards announced they signed Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent’s new team, einheit.

Wizards captured MusambaN1's new team

Just before the day came to an end, news crossed the Atlantic that Curse had closed their CS:GO team. However it didn’t took long to find a new team, as Denial dropped Danny "fRoD" Montaner’s squad to snag ex-Curse. As the result of that the former cuLtivation team was left sponsorless and now go under the name of United5.

On the 29th, Linum Tigers signed the core players from the Croatian European Championship team to play under their tag. A day later, Sam "DaZeD" Marine is linked with Denial eSports, taking the place of Stan "stan^" Sukachov who was demoted to the backup position. While in Germany, Wild Fire completed their lineup with the additions of Benjamin "qk-Mantis" Oberlein and Marten "mat" Gehrke.

Very nice with all the changes going on. If you counted all the US changes though you'd need a full-blown article for all their stupid stuff. Also, typo: Loord announced* his new team, not announed

Notice how they're always interchanging between the same group of players and teams. Organization changes, mosbeck leaves, joins, m0E leaves, joins, AZK leaves, joins, X organization raids Y. Europe has much more teams, their changes are nowhere as stupid as the American's. And this is coming from someone living in the US.

I never said it had to be within 30 days. It's within 2 months. You can't deny the fact that it's switching around the same players from team to team. It's like playing catch. Nice try.

Are you retarded? I'm not blaming HLTV anywhere. I think articles like this are legitimately useful. I'm just saying there are so many changes in the US teams that it's stupid. Please read my posts in their entirety before making dumb comments.

The way you said it could have been interpreted as so. Calls me autistic and fails to spell 'autism'. I have no reason to blame HLTV. It was a side comment insulting the American teams and that's all it was. Stop making a shitstorm out of it.
