CS:GO updated; 50% off

CS:GO has just been updated with six new weapon collections, which will be replacing the old ones. There is also a 50% discount on the game until December 3rd as a part of the Steam Autumn Sale.

Valve brought in a new update right before DreamHack Winter starts, although it is naturally not going to affect the gameplay.

The original weapon collections were replaced by new ones as of today for you to get a chance to change your arsenal thanks to DreamHack Winter 2013 Souvenir Packages, which you can win by watching the event.

Alongside the update, Valve has decided to offer CS:GO with a 50% discount for the whole week, from November 27th to December 3rd. On top of that, Operation Bravo passes will also be on sale for $0,99.

Actually they might see a increase in the price. Like 0,05 to 0,50 and that is because when those ak blacks, deagle blazes etc disappear, people will have no choice but to buy the lower tier ones and do the contract to try and get an ak black. Inb4 PP Bizon Carbon Fiber will be seling for 1€ or more

Register on Twitch.tv, then go to settings(on twitch.tv) and connect your twitch account via steam. So that will allow you to get in-game prizes throught watching dreamhacks stream.

As it was reported by valve, watching offical DH streams = chance getting a skin. Dunno if it already works like it does in Dota if u spectate directly Ingame. But twitch is the safe way to go I believe.

NeoGear one is also official DreamHack stream, from which you can acquire cases, as long as statement on their Facebook page is true (I don't know why it wouldn't be but you know, technical difficulties and stuff, especially that NeoGear wasn't supposed to be official one).

Ahh, didn't notice that at the first. Though again you have Dust 2 and Train there as well. I think its just the same as for example some of the previous collections were named "Nuclear" and so on.

How the fuck did you get that in your mind man? Before this update if you played d2 you could get skindrops from the aztec collection. So if you play nuke you can get skindrops from the lake collection Edit : #45

Anyone else getting footsteps in random places? Was 1on1 on nuke, and I heard the guy ramp, rushed out blue and planted A. The guy sat behind the vent and killed me instantly. Could still hear the footsteps on ramp after I died and he was standing still defusing. Had the same bug on D2, when we heard the CT guy ran from ct-spawn and against B, but he was on long, and killed us because we rushed with knifes from short towards A. It was a 1on2 and my mate, and another one(who was dead) heard it. lost important rounds on that match because of this. it was on matchmaking btw.
