CZ75, cobble changed in new update

Valve has shipped out a new ~67MB update, which focuses on de_cobblestone, as well as CZ75-Auto, which has been upped to $500 and is now a replacement for Five-SeveN and Tec-9.

The former state of CZ75-Auto has been a target of a number of critics within the community despite it being updated, although it has now been moved to replace either Tec-9 or Five-SeveN and the price has been bumped to $500.

One of other topics often discussed was de_cobblestone, which has also undergone significant changes, including a new route from underpass towards B.

de_dust2 has gone through little adjustments of the A plant zone, which could result in new strategies considering the fact that you can now plant without being exposed to the long area.

I sont kinda get the idea that why u even need to pick between guns. Would be better if both of the m4's and all the pistols etc. Were buyable ingame when ever u want. Sometimes in middle of the game m4a1 would be more suitable than m4a4, so what can u do about it in middle of a match? Nothing.

I support the idea of shifting cz to the 4th spot but at least 12 more bullets were needed concidering the fact 57 has 120 and tec9 has 152. 24 Bullets is just too low for a $500 gun.

What CZ did you guys play with? I've even gotten a quad with a single CZ, it just absolutely wrecks like banana on inferno if you take it somewhat easy. 24 bullets is more than enough and even though I absolutely hate the gun I'll probably keep buying it since it's still amazing.

Teamkilling a mate in competitive was already awful enough, your team was already punished for it and you might loose the round and you also lost shitloads of money, not allowing you to drop for the next round nor buy, that was fucked up.

The money loss could be metered with home much dmg you made. You throw nade and yoir teammate with 1hp gets killed from 8 meters away making that exact 1dmg you would lose less money than shooting to the head with the AWP.

CZ will be almost useless now. For five hundred, you can get the 5-7 which is better than the CZ on CT side. And on T side, it's not worth to spend $500 on only 24 bullets. Better get a P250 instead. And CZ is not even that good on T side, since you can't control the range of the duels.

That's your opinion, fact is that the CZ made eco rounds way easier to win. If the 5-7 is better than the CZ how come there wasn't nearly as many eco round wins before the CZ? It's because CZ has more firepower and the 5-7 have more bullets. Now it's up to the player to choose which one they want more.

If CZ was that good, no pro would buy 5-7, and that's not the case, we often see people buying 5-7. 5-7 is much better than P50, but we used to see P250 90% of the times before the CZ. And sometimes, players will rather buy the CZ and a flash. Buying a CZ is not a guaranteed eco win. They buy it because for $300, the chance of winning is pretty good. 5-7 is far superior than the CZ. CZ only wins on close ranges. But 5-7 is deffinetly better overall. Bring your brain next time, Silver 2.

Wow are you retarded? That was exactly the case, everyone bought the CZ. The 5-7 have never been a popular gun since it did exactly what the P250 did. To many players it was not worth the extra $200 because the P250 is almost as good. As I said before, the CZ firepower is superior to the 5-7 which will always make it a better pistol for CTs since they can camp the corners and pick the close range fights. You base your facts on that the 5-7 is some godlike pistol but it's not, it was rarley used before the CZ and after it was used even less. When you manage to win your first match you might realize this scrub.

Ok, dude, I am done arguing with you. Go watch any after update pro game. Every single player were buying the P250. Why? Because it gives them a good chance to win the eco for just $300 (or $250, if I'm not mistaken). It has nothing to do with the CZ being different or anything like that. People bought the CZ over P250 because it was better than the P250, for sure. But people are not going to buy CZ for ecos anymore, it's just too expensive for an eco round. FPS has nothing to do with tickrate. Get real people. Tickrate determinates how many ticks the server recieves and sends to you per second. Means less (i shot him but the bullet went thru) OR ( i hid but then i was dead) OR ( wall on blood = 0 hits) WE NEED 128 TICK for competative. 64 is fine for casual.

Casual players are the biggest part of the community. Not only that, but players who don't take the game seriously and only play MM are and can be considered casual gamers. 128 is something for 5~15% of the community, and that's why Valve doesn't add it on the official matchmaking servers. Did some testing on that, 128-tick really isn't all that much harder on the server. Nowhere near double the resources at the very least. Bit more RAM, the only real change is CPU, and that's 25-30% more usage on a 10-player competitive server comapred to the same on 64-tick.

This is simply hearsay nothing more. How about you back that up with some stats/sources. First of all, I have 100% proof it does not cost twice as much. Secondly, it does not eat twice us much CPU power. It doubles the amount of packets sent/received, it will stress CPU 10-20% more. I have actually tested it. If one would want to double the amount of CPU usage, one would run two identical servers from same computer.

valve is making a KILLING on this game (especially because of the market). everyone in the scene recognizes how much better matchmaking would be with 128 tick. why would valve want to push people away from using the matchmaking system built in to the game? they get a cut of every single market transaction, they get ALL the money from the non e-sports cases, and they're making tons of cash when cheaters/smurfs buy the game over and over. obviously the community is willing to support all of these valve initiatives, wouldn't the increase in customer satisfaction justify the additional cost?

Yes valve definitely isn't making enough out of the current microtransactions already. I hope they will charge us for the option for our player models to wear gloves or add deterioration to our weapon so we can clean them for the price of 50 cents. The great thing about microtransactions, and especially the ones in CS:GO is that you don't NEED to buy them to enjoy the game to it's max. It's up to you if you want to change the look of your game. The feel will always be the same. It would be a great way for Valve and the pro scene to earn some more money. Players are the ones who decide if it's going to be a success in the end.

9/10 times someone will get a frag in the pistol round on both teams, which means dropping a scout for a teammate isn't a problem at all. Snax showed us how much of a difference scout can make in an eco round. He lit 2 players on HR and killed another one. Basically wiping out half of HR with 4 shots

For example on de_inferno B bomb site: You're standing next to the fountain and throw a flashbang inside the water. If it pops under the water, you won't get flashed. If you're in the water aswell, you will get flashed. I believe same was with the HE.

Couldn't agree more. I know why they did it though. players like fifflaren and others would awp the common long crossover then fallback and make it so that the T's couldn't plant the bomb in the ideal situation without having to take on the awp again in a hard to hit pit position, or on long platform where if they try to do that "crab walk" safe plant the awp can still spam them through the box. Even if the Ts get that "safe" plant off they are completely ruined in their after plant scenario with zero good positions to hold. Being in short sucks because you cannot kill a CT defusing the bomb without coming out about 10 meters where you are easily killed. This new plant makes it so if the CT wants to fall back to long the Ts can now do a plant that will have short being a viable position to hold and do jiggle peaks to the CT's trying to retake. But yeah the thing is I didn't see this as a problem because it was something the CTs could do to swing an otherwise T biased map a little in their favor. Also it was not like this didn't have its counters. We started seeing late long lurkers and fake shorts to B splits.

Great, so instead of spending 1500 for guns that can destroy $20,000 worth of equipment, you now spend 2500. Such a huge update, weeeee. Edit : Also, the fuckup with short plant is that the Terrorists can now guard the bomb from CT spawn. It's to prevent people bumming the shit out of long before and after the plant. Too easy for CT's to prevent a plant by playing long/retake on A and too easy for T's to hold the bomb from long alone. I guess it makes sense on paper we'll just have to see how it plays out. Hopefully it encourages some more short/A ramp play.

great move with the CZ valve, even though it was fun with the original spec release, it will make pistol/eco rounds a lil more balanced as to how they should be. as many people stated above, reduce the defuse kit back to $200, and add 128 tick and the game play will improve exponentially. oh, and obviously improve your "state of the art" anti-cheat client. lastly, why is cs:go $15.00 when cs:s is still $20? I think those prices should be swapped.

I like the new cbble changes, it looks like it shifts a bit towards terrorists but opens a lot more room on ct aggression too.. now u have a lot less angles to check when entering the b site and all that.. though there is a new pathway for ts to rotate between the sites and it creates one more part to the maze that it is already it feels right though.

good nerf on cz, but i still feel that cz is to strong, its more expensive but i dont feel money solves it,i think lowering its armor pen and fire rate a small amount would solve its issues and give it another clip, becuse lets face it ammo is not the issue. and adding it to be more expensive and more expensive will just make the gun unbuyable and not valid approach at all. and they might wanna adress both aug and SG by lowring their costs a bit closer to unsilenced m4 and the AK then they are. also their fire rate got nerfed when go came, they had higher fire rate in 1.6 both of them. both beated ak and colt by a lot, and the scope nerf placed them even further back and reduced the reason even further to buy them. How, what and how much of price fire rate and what to do with scoping i wont say its up to devs to determinate but we all know they are not used for a very good reason.

actually in 1.6 you never scoped with aug or SG commando. you bought them for their extreme low reocoil and fire rate. their damage per second where a lot higher than both ak and colt due to their fire rate. THen they buffed aug and changed it in go and made it op as hell. then nerfed it to the ground, what the point to force you to use the scope on aug and SG? the point should be you can scope if you want. In go you get more recoil for no freaking reason, and the recoilpattern is very very odd.

I think you replied to the wrong post or misunderstood me. I wasn't referring to 1.6 at all, although I did use the SIG and AUG sometimes for fun yea, it wasn't really a good option. In GO the weapons were useful to me even before VALVe made them insanely OP, I liked to play AUG outside on Nuke and a SIG when I didn't have money for AWP on dust2 or mirage. But yea, then VALVe buffed the weapons insanely and it was retarded to play with them because it was too easy, then they nerfed them and brought the shitty scope. I would still play them if it wasn't for the annoying scope tho, I think.

This game still needs tweaks to: - deagle (need to be more viable for it price), - scout (nerf jump shots, buff smth else), - inaccuracyjump should be increased (pistols are too accurate while jumping - kqly rtrd action), - inaccuracyland should be decreased or removed +land penalty increased, - many more which was suggested months ago. Btw. good update but I don't know about the CZ-75 slot and teamkill money penalty, we'll see.

What a pentaly that it is then just losing 300$ now. "Oh... I killed a team mate. No problem, just a lost a bit of money" Teamkills are suposed to be huge penalties, and they are high to make sure you don't repeat it again. Now pratically the only thing that the teamkills does is reducing the numbers of players on team, which doesn't matter much if your team is better in skill and tactics. While before not only you had to face the "disadvantage in numbers" but the disadvantage of getting money loss. It's just a huge mistake of the aspects of this game.

Good update at all. But why valve always make something op (like aug and sg back in a time) and then they just nerf it. We need major update, big one. -movements must be fixed (too many "run kills", "jump kills" and etc.) -c4time 35 and roundtime 1.75 in MM (I dont know why they are others...) -jump kills from scout must be fixed (its pretty unreal and hilarious) -new de_train (everybody knows that this train suck, and that was on of the most popular maps in CS 1.6 and CSS. at least it was awesome competetive map.)

I hated it being in the p250 slot. No one ever used the tec9 anyway & having to choose between the cz & five-seven is a good option. Either way it now adds more options to strats as to whether you charge in with CZ at close or opt for the P250 at range again for picks.. Its a good change :)

I know people bang on about this alot, but they should offer 128 tick servers to people with a certain amount of hours/games, abit like overwatch. This way there could be better games, more realistic to comp play and less hakzors. Even if they made you pay a one off payment, that would be even better for comp. Obv the proper comp settings should apply also otherwise there wont be as much interest as there could be from communities used to playing on every other 3rd party MM system out there.

good change to dd2 A bombsite, and cobble now seems a bit weird, should've left underpass the same, too empty now. New path is good, but why remove the old one? just add train back please, its a map for hardcores!

Now when CZ75-Auto costs $500 add one more magazine or RIOT ! And 128 tick servers in match making would be a decent upgrade(Riot possible).

Well it has a reason why the CZ doesn't have a dedicated slot if you prefer more ammo you should take the 57.
