Former Property member Andreas "schneider" Lindberg has joined KILLERFISH as a stand-in for the ESL One Cologne qualifier and the Acer Predator Masters finals.

The Swedish player's future had been up in the air since he was left out of Property's roster for this weekend's offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne as the team will attend the event with the same three stand-ins with whom they competed in the online pre-qualifier.

Andreas "⁠znajder⁠" Lindberg has now agreed to lend his services to KILLERFISH for their next two offline events, the qualifier for the ESL major and the Acer Predator Masters finals.

The 22-year-old will fill the role vacated by Michele "⁠zonixx⁠" Köhler, who departed the German team earlier in the month.

"We’re really excited to play at this weekend's qualifier," team member Tahsin "tahsiN" Sarikaya said. "If we can live up to our potential I think we can manage to win some games, because in best-of-one matches anything can happen!

"I believe dignitas and Titan are favourites, but apart from that anything can happen.

"I am also happy to announce that schneider will help us out for the next events. His play style and character really suit us."

This is the second time that znajder finds himself filling in for a German team, after he played for mousesports as a substitute last year. At the time, he ruled out a permanent move to mouz due to personal reasons, and the team ended up qualifying for ESWC with Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill as a stand-in before signing Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen.

KILLERFISH, who will face FlipSid3 Tactics in the first round of the ESL One Cologne qualifier, will attend the upcoming two events with:

Why are these top tier players (allu, maikelele, schneider, karrigan) stepping in for tier 3 german teams? I've never seen some1 stepping in for a french, polish, swedish low tier team. Killerfish is not very successful..i don't think their salary is good.

Mouz last year technically wasn't German, they were international and spoke English. Regarding schneider and Killerfish though I think he's friends with Tahsin and he's not playing for any team right now so it would make sense to play as a standin.

some 16:9 res last time he streamed 1½ month ago. He used to use 4:3 bb, but he recently switched I guess.

yeah, he streamed 2 days ago and he changes... now he use 3 possibles res ( i guess ) 1152 4:3 BB, 1280:768 16:10 or 1680:10 ... note: ( i say this because in aspect in game it was not 16:9 more ) and much viewers said those three res. but not sure 1152... so or 1280:768 16:10 or 1680:10
