Team eBettle have qualified for ESL One Cologne after seeing off Titan 25-23 on de_train.

The first spot at the Cologne major was contested by the new Titan team, who had eased past Gamers2 and k1ck going into the Upper Bracket final, and Team eBattle, fresh off close victories against Epiphany Bolt and HellRaisers.

Titan came out strongly in the first half and took a 3-0 lead following an outer bombsite push in the pistol round. But then the Frenchmen were left stunned as a series of rounds went eBettle's way following some amazing individual plays by Damian "⁠Furlan⁠" Kislowski and Bartosz "⁠Hyper⁠" Wolny.

It was only when they were down 4-8 that Titan were able to stop eBettle's streak, but the Polish team refused to take their foot off the pedal and brought the scoreline to 10-5 in their favor.

In the second half, Titan were able to close the gap to 8-10 after winning the first three rounds, but then Hyper put his team back in the driving seat with more sick actions.

eBettle extended their run and took the scoreline to 14-8, but then Titan finally managed to hold back the Poles. A total of seven rounds went the Frenchmen's way, but then the ex-INSHOCK squad crawled their way back into the game and won the final round to take the game to overtime.

After the first two overtimes failed to determine a winner, the second of which saw Edouard "⁠SmithZz⁠" Dubourdeaux win a 1vs3 clutch to keep his team in the game, eBettle picked up one round as Terrorists and three as CT to seal a 25-23 win that takes them through to the major.

So shit. Valve & ESL ruining the competition day by day. Imagine, we could be seeing this whole load of shit teams at the major: Immunity, Flipsid3, eBettle, HR or LGB... Then we're left with only 10 or so of the best teams instead of what should have been the 16 best if we just had all BO3's. Fucking GG ESL & Volvo. Maniac is inconsistent in the sense of having good awareness sometimes and in others n00b play. 1v1 on B, knew where the guy were. Why not play with the C4 time and win the round? Yet he try to outsmart him by dancing around the train... lol That and the round where shox and rpk were in heaven and couldn't get a single kill by playing extremely passive. It's sad that either Titan/HR and dignitas will be left out of this major. Titan is still fairly new, but I think that they'd have chance give those few weeks to prepare. It's kinda dissapointing that most of these teams: Immunity, eBettle etc. will mostly be free walkovers for top5 teams. And if someone like NiP gets one of them, they basically get to grandfinals/semifinals at least.

So. Both Hyper and rallen have cheated in the past. Known cheat coders have stated that there are a number of cheaters in the pro scene with cheats even working at lans, and most of t hem are probaly in the more unknown teams wanting to make easy money like ebettle. Hyper does one of the best if not the best invidual performances in cs go history and gets players like shox look like a BOT in a game that will guarantee them alot of money. Even as T on train with all those angles CT can be on he was always spot on where the CTs would stand. And did anyone see peet in that important OT round, when he just flick shotted headshot trough smoke and made the casters quiet? I have my doubts. Didnt bet or cheer on Titan, just some reflections.
