MLG major tickets go on sale

Tickets for the North American major to be hosted by MLG have been put on sale at ticketmaster.

From March 29 to April 3, MLG will host in Columbus, Ohio, the first North American CS:GO major, where 16 teams will duke it out for their part of a $250,000 prize pool.

The group stage and the quarter-finals will be held at the MLG Arena and can only be watched online as the venue will be closed to the public. The semi-finals and the title decider will be played at the 20,000-seater Nationwide Arena, which will be open to spectators.


Nationwide Arena to stage the semi-finals and the grand final 

General admission tickets for the last two days of the event are priced at $45, whereas VIP tickets, which include access to a special lounge area, premium floor seating and early access to the venue, cost $150.

It's not even that for me. It's more like there will be literally no one watching in person for more than half the tournament and I feel like that's gonna make the atmosphere less exciting and the tournament as a whole feel less important than it should. I get they probably can't rent out Nationwide Arena for a whole 4 or 5 days, and that's fine, but at least let some people into the MLG venue. Like god damn dude.

Yeah, that's weak as shit. Half the hype of a major is getting into the matches when someone goes HAM or gets a gnarly clutch. I could live with no crowd for groups, but to not have one for the quarters as well is extremely rough.
