Aleksi "allu" Jalli announced via Twitter that he will not be a part of NiP Gaming next year.

Finnish star Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli took to Twitter the day after his team lost to fnatic 1-2 in the final of Fragbite Masters Season 5, in what was their last LAN event of 2015, to announce that he will not be a part of NiP next year.

allu announces he will not be a part of NiP in 2016

allu joined NiP back in February when he replaced Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill ahead of the ESL One Katowice major for what was initially a trial period.

He reached the grand final of that tournament, as well as a few others later on in the year such as Gfinity Spring Masters I, Gfinity Summer Masters I and last night's Fragbite Masters Season 5, but a big international title still eludes him.

His announcement ties into the endless speculation about the team's future which started several months ago, but which was recently refuted by the organization.

Back then it was revealed that the NiP players' contracts will end on December 31st, 2015 after which they will be free to leave the organization and begin new projects.

Presumably the 23 year old Finnish star has decided to do just that and was ready to announce it following the last match of NiP this year, seeing as they have no more LAN events or even online matches scheduled for this month.

He should have retired .. He was consistently bottom fragging. Even in the match against fnatic where nip won. On the other hand Allu was consistently in the top 3 of the team. Granted he was missing some important shots but that was not the reason for NIP's recent (more like a long time now) drop in form. The gravest wound should b treated first... and i think that was friberg. Apparently the team thought differently :(

There's no hardcoded role for IGLs, but most IGL are lurkers. Look at Happy or Flush. How often do you see those two as the last man standing, the lurkers or the person, who is in charge of backstabbing, faking and often planting.

Why salty??? Entry fragging isn't dying straight away and forcing ur team for playing 4 vs 5s. U r right that stats aren't everything but we all have watched the matches. Do u think he has been up to Tier-1 mark? Hell, do u think that he has played even half to the level he was at peak. He has been frustrated even in his interviews and rightly so. He might no longer be the king of banana that we all once knew. If NIP wants to stay at the top level of CS GO, i m afraid that friberg will have to go. U may remove all the Allus and xizts from the team and even add Olof and Guardian if u want. A team is only as strong as its weakest link.

Because occasionally the team performs. The likes of seized, edward and flamie and even zeus, they don't always fail. and when they do, even guardian can't carry all. I remember a recent match against fnatic on dd2 where guardian 40 bombed and Navi still lost the game. Same thing happened when Kennys tried to carry titan almost always but his team rarely supported him.

Very true. Also, I think it was suNny, or if not him then some other fairly appreciated finnish player who said that there are lots of potential pro/players in Finland, but most of them lack the vision to see the big picture, that the game isn\t as much about individual skill and praise, but about a team effort. I cant help but agreeing with him, seeing as how I have yet to see a finnish team where everyone is in the mindset of progressing on the world ranking with the team and not individually.

There is shitload of talented players in Finland. Talented as individual playing goes. Thats for aiming, basic gaming knowledge, intuition and reading of game phase. They just dont know how to form a proper team and train together. We have seen so many times promising Finnish line-up that plays and trains together for some time but until the first major tournament or game against a better team they fail and start arguing together and disband and try forming a new team with different line-ups.

I'm really not biased, I don't hate Allu, but I simply don't like him either, he never appeared to me like an exceptionnal player. A good guy maybe, but not a great player. He picked up at some point due to hard training I guess, but still wasn't enough to compete against the top AWPers.

allu is going to find a good team, I'm sure of it. He was their most consistent player through out 2015 along with GeT_RiGhT and f0rest also lately. This talent can't be wasted, we don't really know if he was kicked or if allu "wanted"/offered himself to leave. It was never the performance from allu that was the issue, maybe he didn't really fit in or felt comfortable with how xizt wanted him to play. Good luck and best of all allu, you are worth it! However even then I think Pronax in ur team would be better rather than Allu. i.e. f0rest GTR pronax rain jkaem rather than f0rest GTR allu rain jkaem because allu has been missing shots and I think pronax (excellent rifler, experienced igl; even more can be said) would be an overall better addition. Also, with jkaem and f0rest already in the team, u would not really need another awper.

Pronax(he) can't aim for shit Thats so not true. He surely ain't no olof but he was good and can hold his own weight even with that short slump in form he had at the end of his stint in fnatic. Plus he is arguably the best IGL we might have seen and thus one NIP needs now immensely. Just think how GTR and pronax together might easily out-think the other teams. This is all speculation ofc but I do watch CS and understand it, and so imho, pronax might actually help NIP back to its glory days.

it was a lot easier to shine in those teams as his teammates were worse. in nip he was naturally not going to be a constant carrier because the team already had two other star players. I think he did well this year though.

I think it's funny that people say they should go their separate ways. They've been inside the top tier bracket, never really out of the top 5 since the beginning of CSGO. This is the livelihood of these players, not just a game. They still get some exceptional results, still reach finals and occasionally win them. I'm not sure how that can be construed as a reason to split and go their separate ways. If I were friberg, getright, forest or xist, I'd be looking to continue. Grab a 5th of their choice and continue in arguably the most stable lineup in CSGOs tier 1.

I don't understand this at all :/ I guess they made up their minds about all of this earlier at the same time as the rumors about changes started going around but things has changed so fast since then. G2 became crazy good all of a sudden but they changed dennis against aizy anyway which was really unexpected to me. On top of that I didn't expect pronax to leave fnatic either and at the same time NiP became so much better but now decide to switch it around anyway? I'm confused. I really hope allu will play somewhere else and not quit the game!

Good decision. Allu was certainly a problem, but i think friberg is also a problem for nip. At this level, the team wont win shit if u feel one of your teammate is not good enough. First NIP was godlike, because other teams just didnt put enough effort in the game. Then other teams started to catch up. At this point it was clear, that fifflaren isnt good enough for TOP level play. So they brought in Maikelele, but there were some initial problems that we dont know. Meanwhile Friberg started to suck also, and he is still in a slump for over a loooong time. Then allu came... some match was enough to see that he is also not skilled enough. In a winning team everyone trusts everyone, and every player thinks that all of his teammates are able to win an important clutch or carry the team if needed. But at the point when u think "omg i have to carry the team again", or "wow why the fuck i need to play with this BOT", you are fucked :D I guess the core of NIP (forest, get_right, and xzist) are fine witch each other, but they dont trust in Friberg (and allu) anymore. So they need to change these players. Allu is gone, now friberg must go also :/

Yeah, this analysis would be good if Allu actually sucked. He performed better than most NiP players but it became a thing to target mostly Allu for mistakes, though everyone made them and you could see absolutely stupid mistakes from pretty much all of them, even from f0rest. And you didn't even mention the tacs and map pool.. I wouldn't rate your analysis very high. Easy to target the new player.

Its my personal opinion that allu isnt good enough for NIP. I just needed to watch some of his matches, missing really easy shots, playing with such slow reflexes, doing stupid mistakes. I think we can agree that forest, get_right, and xzist are all fuckin good players. But lately they sucked also.... how is that possible? Well just imagine you are a great player, and you play your hearth out, doing your best... Then in the rounds u die u spec allu and what u see is just terrible :D doesnt matter how good u are, he is bringing your game down too, so actually u will start to play bad too. Forest started to play good again.. but why? why now? I bet, because he already knew they will kick allu. At this level the psychological aspects of a team are the most important. If a team feels good together, they will rise, if not they will fall.

Well, I watched most of his matches and came to different conclusions. Correlation doesn't imply causation. It's just your speculation and I don't see much point in it. It seems you just want to see it that way and try to find some basis to it. You think the financial problems, the unprofessional behaviour from the NiP org. towards its players and obsolete tactics on most maps don't effect psychologically? You just went for Allu to blame. They even had these kind of problems before Allu. And all you know, Allu is leaving NiP org, there's no real information that he was kicked. And might be he's going to play with (some of) them in the future and is just phrasing his leave like that.

Exactly, i dont think financial problems and unprofessional behaviour from NIP was the problem. Forest, Get_right.. I think they fuckin dont care about money. They play for the competition, to be the best. They play for the love of the game, for emotions. They play for the win, and thats what counts for them. Anyway ye, im just speculating just like everyone else on this site :) However I have some experience in high level gaming (was playing for premier league teams, not in CS tho, but in another teambased FPS game.) Thats why i can tell what made me perform worse (for example if i had problems with my teammates).

Don't underestimate the effect the organization has its on players, ask ex-TSM. Of course they care about the game. But if you have to worry about money and finance, it's gonna have an effect on you some way. One person cannot be responsible for other people's performances in the end - especially in the pro scene. I think tacs have way more impact than one person under-performing. And stat-wise it wasn't Allu who did bad, quite the opposite. Of course you can argue about the impact of the frags, but like I pointed out, Allu had impact. At least FalleN gave some respect by saying Allu has been one of the most difficult awpers to go against.
